She was saying something about having two (choices of clothes for the awards), but between the noise and the sipping of water, details are unclear.

After the sip of water:

"Hffdfh fhfjg hgjhgjh hgjh. Hfd? (Nodding) Yeah, right."



I'd like to see that entire interview from Popsugar (with better sound)--and I hope there's more than just fifteen seconds there. I had no idea Kat had to do press like that before the Billboard Awards...and it looks like some kind of autograph convention or something. There's even a phone with a cord there! Amazing in this day and age of seeing cell phones in every square foot of space.

Well, apparently Kat had two wardrobe choices for tonight...and she went with the right one in my opinion. Maybe the other one was a little more conservative--but I can't blame her for wanting to show off her shape tonight. After all, this is basically the last major TV event for Kat before New Year's. That doesn't include the 'Home for the Holidays' special that was already taped and doesn't have any surprises attached. Maybe Kat will show up to some more charity functions before the holidays...because seeing her bring fashion to new heights is a lot of fun to say the least.

The title of this thread says it's an interview about the album--though I didn't hear her say anything about the album there. Hopefully someone can find the entire interview so we can hear it...without it sounding like you're standing in the middle of a crowd at a cocktail party.

"After the third week of recording 10 hours a day, I was like, I just want to make this record good. They said, 'You’ll never make a record like this again. You’ll be recording one song a week as opposed to two songs a day.'"

And this is probably why she slammed the brakes on the whole process.  Which caused the release backup from Nov 28th to Dec 5th to Dec 19th to Jan 30th.  "I just want to make this record good."

10 hours a day?  I realize she isn't singing the whole time but...no wonder her voice was "tired" at one point there.

She may be making offhand remarks about what she'll do if it all fizzles, but it sounds like the people working with her (industry professionals who should know their onions) are just assuming she'll be doing this for the next 40 years or so. They know talent when they hear it.
