Somehow using the words 'Movers and Shakers' with the Hawaiian earthquake and Al Gore makes that list loaded with too much irony.

I can guarantee that Kat will probably be in the Top Three on many search engines when her album first comes out. Though I'd say that once her single or video comes out (maybe before the album)--it'll generate the biggest buzz of all. The anticipation should be at boiling temperature in that final week before the album is finally dropped. Though the intrigue will probably increase with the songs on Kat's album. I'm sure she's going to be putting a lot of mystery in those songs that people will be trying to decipher on the net...along with newer fans trying to look up basic info about her.

The best news on that list is that Kat is just plain a fascinating person without the need for controversy as most of those people on the list have. Heather Mills wouldn't be there unless she was siphoning money and blood out of Paul McCartney. Ditto for all others on that list who are basically trying to shock the world with whatever. Sara Evans is in the middle of a messy divorce with a local Oregon Congressman (she lived here part of the time). Kat is all about unassuming talent plain and simple. That's what makes a true mover and shaker in my mind.

I think at this point, Al Gore could probably be a good mover and shaker if he jumped on a couch on Oprah... Plus, what's all the fascination with that movie called 'The Prestige?' Apparently movies about magicians are making a comeback.

Well, all Kat will have to do is sing a few notes from her album on a TV show--and people will be scrambling to their computers.

In a very short period of time, alot of those on the list will cease to be too popular. Katharine, though, will rise in popularity due to a new album and high profile promotion, so she should rise on the list and cease to be tied with the likes of Barry Bonds

Yay! I wonder what will happen on the internet when Kat's album is out.
