Kat is in this special issue of People magazine, Style Watch, on page 63.  Shows picture of her with and without extensions.  It says she didn't win American Idol, but Katharine Mcphee did learn a beauty secret on the show:  "I got these great extensions," she says.  "You back- comb your hair, then clip them in for long, beautiful hair that looks so real.  Then you take them out before you go to sleep."  She really looks great either way.  (I posted this in the wrong place so this is a duplicate). 

How great! She looks beautiful with long and short hair--so she can have both whenever!

I'm not sure which magazine you are talking about. The one I saw was People Mag- Style Watch -winter 2006. It has Rachel Bison on the front ---and a botox add on page 63?? I didn't see Kat anywhere.

I'm guessing it'll be more than just a cover.  I'm sure there will be pictures inside the magazine too!  And perhaps a story on Katharine (most likely) and how she's gotten herself in such fantastic shape etc, etc.  I'm starting to think we won't see it until December now.  I think we would have heard leaks about it if it was coming out next week.  Katharine in a bathing suit for Christmas!  That'll keep everyone warm during the cold winter nights.
