This Week’s Idols’ Singles’ Charts

  • Kellie Pickler’s "Red High Heels” remained at #41 on the Country chart.
  • Mario Vazquez’ “Gallery” was #40 on the Hot 100, #49 on the Hot 100 Airplay, #21 on the Pop 100, and #11 on the Pop 100 Airplay chart. It also turned up on the Hot Digital Songs list (#31) and the Hot Digital Tracks chart (#35).
  • Taylor’s “Do I Make You Proud” / “Takin’ it to the Streets” was #3 on the Single Sales.
  • Katharine McPhee’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” / “My Destiny” was #4 on the Single Sales chart this week.
  • Ruben Studdard’s “Change Me” continues to climb the charts. It was #39 on the Hip Hop/R&B chart and #37 on the Hip Hop/R&B Airplay chart. It also charted on the Hot R&B Adult chart at #7.
  • Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” continues its ascent on the charts. It was up five more spots to #33 on the Hot 100 and was #4 on the Country chart. The single was also #36 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart. #21 on the Pop 100, #27 on Hot Digital Tracks, and #27 on Hot Digital Songs. If it continues at this rate, it should hit #1 on the Country chart within the next few weeks, making Carrie the 100th Idol to have a #1 Billboard hit!
  • Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You” was #8 on the Adult Contemporary chart.

That's awesome! She's going to be getting that #1 spot with her debut album though. I can see it now...!

According to Ken Barnes, Idol Chat, in USA Today here are the stat for the single sales chart.

"Taylor and Katharine are still in the top 10 of the singles sales chart; Taylor's at No. 6 after selling 1,000; Katharine's No. 7 with 900 sold."
