Is there an American Idol curse???? We sure would like to know!! LOL Here's an interesting article in Time Magazine featuring Kat!! They sure like to write about our girl!!!! I must say that with her string of bad luck lately, I've joked that she must live on an Indian Burial Ground!! LOL

The publicity doesn't hurt. Well, TIME magazine is not a niche newspaper. So those who had no interest in AI would at least now be aware of Kat!!!

Hey! Katharine didn't wear the wrong shoes!! She doesn't even like shoes!! Heehee...I actually mentioned this the other day about the Idol "foot curse!" Funny stuff!

Since when did Time suddenly add a page that's almost identical to psychic prediction sections in rags? Here they've been a consistent mag of logic in the world--and they're reporting seriously about an 'AI' curse. It seems every magazine in the world now has to report something salacious in order to increase sales.

While all corporate entities like 'AI' aren't exactly spitting images of pureness and goodness--I don't think they have some evil pall cast over them that affect those who've been in the fray. Even so, I do believe in true evil out there that can affect people's lives. But if you keep the faith (as Kat has)--you shouldn't be affected by it.

Then again, maybe someday we'll find out about some witch doctor living in L.A. who has a giant voodoo doll in the guise of a runners-up foot on 'AI.' Every season, he sticks pins into the foot to get even with the producers. Yes, it may be a former disgruntled employee...so the 'AI' people may want to hire a private investigator as soon as possible.

As for Kat: We have to consider that her laryngitis wasn't part of this curse. And besides, feet are sensitive things and usually get damaged easy...especially if you're a singer.

hahaha - I believe that KAT should go shoeless from now on - though those black boots are HOT....

Time has had this People section for as long as I can remember, Greg, although perhaps the writing has gotten a little snarkier than it used to be. In any event, I don't consider a sentence like "All of this makes us wonder what these singers need more: to prove Simon Cowell wrong or to wear slightly more sensible shoes" to be "serious" reporting by any stretch.

One could say, however, that Kat's little mishap has forced her to wear the most sensible "shoe" of them all.

hmmmm.... all of them are the 2nd runner up .... could the AI curse be true? *Thinking hard..*

They better put next year's runner up in bubble wrap!
