In a segment about the growing phenomenon of Americans kissing each other's cheeks during greetings and the proper etiquitte on doing so,  they showed a quick clip of Kat kissing the judges.

It showed her getting mauled by Paula Abdul and said in the voice over something about, "What you should not do is kiss on the lips." Then it showed the Simon kiss.

It also showed, notably, clips of Bush kissing Rice and a scene from Friends where Rachel's boss goes in for a cheek kiss and she freezes and looks stunned.
