Great interview! I think this is the best magazine interview so far and Kat, as usual her beautiful and goofy self. It cracked me up when the comment was made about how she was "breaking into snatches of song" during the shoot...that's our girl.

Have you ever had a beauty disaster?
Like every girl, I’ve over-plucked my eyebrows, especially in middle school and high school. And once I wore a strapless brown dress that looked like a big trash bag on me. It was awful. I wore it for one of the [Idol] performances.

I thought Kat looked perfectly fine when she sang "Against All Odds." I guess by omission this means she didn't have a problem with her "The Voice Within" outfit?

That mag used one of the outtakes from the Vegas Magazine shoot...and reversed it...while cutting out Nena at the end of the photo.  That's the giant Elvis in the back wearing the gold jumpsuit. (See one of the older Kat Kaptions.)

It's always interesting how Kat still looks perfect even when reversed in a photo. Most people look completely different (and strange) in a mirror image photograph. Kat's fortunate in that department that she still looks the same in either scenario.

Anyway, that's a great interview--though quite familiar as giving the sense it was cobbled together from other past interviews. Even that Barbara Streisand statement at the end was from a prior interview. I think she originally made that statement in that gay mag she appeared in last spring.

Well we learned something new in that Kat wears sunscreen every day. While probably a burden doing that--it's very smart of her...especially if you're outdoors in Cali a lot. That'll keep her skin looking youthful when she's over 50. It amazes me how many people don't wear sunscreen--even when lounging around for hours on a sun-drenched beach. Can you say leather before you're 30? But I've been a bad boy in that department myself. I only go to the beach for brief intervals during the summer, though, and protect my overly fair skin the rest of the time.

Oh, and if Kat's had any beauty mishaps--it's not noticeable by the male population. After hearing about some of those things happening during 'AI' last year--Kat must be one of the best cover-up artists of all time.
