Okay since the smoking issue for me is resolved (I am not thinking about it anymore and am done discussing it) I will now comment on the other parts of this article.

I found it very interesting that she wanted to work with My Chemical Romance.
I think if she made a pop/rock album it'd be very interesting because I somehow get
the feeling that she would be good at that. Look at Evanessance and Amy Lee. Amy Lee has a beautiful voice and it fits perfect with the rock songs. Of course maybe rock is not the way to go for Katharine but it's still just an interesting thought. I want Katharine to do what will please the fans and what she does at hearts best.
I loved the fact that she said she likes Journey. Journey is freaking awesome! I love their one song "Any way you want it" as well as many others.

I am still waiting and watching for when an official tour date schedule is announced. At a live show she said she loves that people take time out of their lives to come see her. That's what we do right now by talking on this fan site and on myspace. All of that is done during our own time and you know what, I love taking the time to show my love and support for Katharine. She's gives us so much and each day we can only give back so little but all that little adds up and that's what really matters.

For one thing (and I realize this thread is a few days old but...) the national media isn't going to run with an innocent little quote like that.  Nobody friggin' cares!  It's not a news story that someone does something that's perfectly legal for her age in this country.  Now, the health issues...that's up to her.  I'm just more thinking about protecting her vocal cords than anything else.  Because I find smoking unattractive is my thing...I wasn't taking this all the way to being a "role model" issue.

I don't think she was promoting the activity.  They probably asked her for a "secret" about herself and that came to mind and she said it.  Is it a mistake?  I guess it could be.  But would you like her to lie and say she's Little Miss Perfect?  Or not say anything in these interviews?

AskMen.com wouldn't make up something like that.  I'm sure they didn't think twice about it because it isn't a big deal really.  I'm sure they were hoping for something juicier than "It just feels sexy..."

And I'm sure her singing voice is more important to her than smoking a cigarette occasionally.  I wouldn't worry about it.
