If this has already been posted, I apologize! But, here here is the review of Katharine's CD from Rhapsody.com.

Album Review

The debut from American Idol's fifth season runner-up is McPheever-inducing. It finds Katherine McPhee transformed from a giggly Broadway baby into a sizzling R&B songstress. Here she introduces urban club anthems like "Love Story," "Open Toes" and "Neglected," as well as contemporary power ballads like "Ordinary World" and "Home." Following in the footsteps of Idol vet Kelly Clarkson, McPhee delivers a strong, soulful debut.

Very cool.  Not sure that LS is an "urban club anthem" but...whatever.  Cool review nonetheless.

"I saw Katharine McPhee when there were about 12 contestants left on American Idol. She blew me away. I loved her grace, her style, her poise, her voice and her hair! I wanted her to be the face of Sexy Hair because she represented everything that I had in my head for the brand: youth, beauty, talent, class, a young sophistication, and sexiness." -- Jim Morrison, CEO of Sexy Hair Products.

Yep, good review. I find myself so protective of this girl. It is so strange. I got aggravated in another thread that they called her an "American Idol reject" and now they spelled her name with an "e" in Katharine again. I'm a very laid back kind of person who finds herself upset when I think someone has wronged Kat. Is this what a fan is, lol?

I added that review on a thread I started a couple weeks ago updating people on where certain songs were charting on Rhapsody. But thanks for putting it in a separate thread...because people miss these things when they get mixed in with other topics.

Seems strange that they didn't put a name on that review when most of Rhapsody's review team put their name. Maybe it's one of those 40+ male demographics who didn't want tomatoes thrown at him for thinking he shouldn't be a fan of Katharine McPhee's. Good lord, do the older guy fans have to go around under cover now?

I'm thinking, too, that maybe this was an upstart writing their review and won't get name recognition until more established later. It's quite a simple review...but still noteworthy in the comments made. We'll take anything we can get--especially when some reviewers get overly intellectual and ruin the whole point.

As far as I can tell, ALL of the major online music services (Amazon, B&N, iTunes, Rhapsody) had glowing reviews from their resident reviewers.
