Katharine McPhee and Joss Stone kept their wits about them as they were swarmed by photographers at the Marc Jacobs show. McPhee, a Fashion Week novice, was the first celebrity to arrive at the New York State Armory building and was soon backed up against a wall by the clamoring press. Stone's hairstylist—who gave the natural brunet her new shade of punk pink—took advantage of his client's popularity, handing out his business cards to reporters.

God, "backed up against a wall" ? That sounds kinda harrowing. But I'm sure she handled it just fine. I'll bet she never realized it would be like this when she was 10 years old and dreaming about being a star.
