Thanks, these are great!

I'm having a little problem when I play them back though; the video "drags" or sputters some when I play the videos back; but the audio is really good. Is there a way to make it play smoother?

These vids are really great! Is anyone else having problems with playing back the girls finale number? My media player won't play it and acts like the file is corrupt. I've downloaded it twice (its almost 400 MB) and still get the same result. The Meatloaf duet and "I Made It through the Rain" song from the finale play fine but the girls medley just won't cooperate. Has anyone else tried it? Thanks.

Download media player classic: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/media_player_classic.html. It seems to work MUCH better than Windows Media Player; not nearly as many errors and better performance.

Be sure to use media player classic, link is in the original post. If that's not working, I'm not qute sure what else it could be. Do you have a fast processor?

The files play perfectly on my PC, so I don't think that's the problem. Might have also need to install the latest video codecs.

I'll download the girls medley and see if the file is corupted or something.

I actually love Meat's weird and nervous performance here, he is the opposite of Kat in so many ways that she shines all the brighter. I don't thing he was out of tune much beyond his intro?

the critics panned this performance but I know a lot of people love it. I posted it to youtube and it got something like 15000 hits before FOX pulled it down. It was also the 97th most commented on video and received 4 and a half stars average rating.

I would love for them to do the full song on her album. I'm not alone, it was the most suggested song in a poll I ran on my website. Nothing else came close.


That's very interesting, and I agree.   I absolutely loved the duet, and downloaded it on my computer after the finale.

It's amazing how many people liked it, and it shows that it truly was an amazing performance. 

I thought Meat's rought vocals contrasted beautifully with Kat's smooth strong ones, and I loved the theatricallity of it.

Some of the AI idiots were criticizing her that night for looking pissed off at Meat, and nervous..but then DUH.  She was "acting" since it was a love song.

Anyway..I loved the performance and thanks Trist for posting up the Female Medley.

I was looking for some High Quality video of it.

Kat was awesome on that one too.

I checked the file and there are 2 times when the video jerked for a sec, but otherwise it played perfectly. I was using the media classic.
The jerkiness isn't on my original copy so must have happened during the uploading or downloading. I'm not sure if re-uploading it would make any difference. And really I don't think it detracts from the video it was so minor so.....

I'm having trouble downloading these from megaupload. Do I right click and go to "Save targe as" or do I click on the link? I've tried both and neither work...help! =(

Thanks for the suggestions.  I tried media classic on my work machine just now and got audio but no video and my machine kind of went out to lunch, I had to reboot.  Last night on my home computer it was playing the video but I got no audio with the regular media player with the dvd codecs.   Like I said the others play fine so maybe there is just something peculiar with my setup causing a problem with this one file.

this bump is a request for the file of Katharine doing Think on the TOP3 Results show.

I have searched far and wide for a quality version of this and the one I have is wanting. This was one of my favorite performances of the year and if you, or anyone else, still has this one on the hard drive I would appreciate, in a big way, a reupload of this file.
