It's no coincidence that she just "happened" to start singing that particular song, I betcha.

In my head, I'm hearing both versions (the recorded one and her impromptu one) in the same key. That sounds like she has perfect pitch, which we might have guessed from being able to start in the right key without a cue because her earphone didn't work (whichever one of the OTRs that was).

God, are we all going to be going to be going around whistling/humming Open Toes? We're doomed. But that does bode well for the song's chances of success.

LOL One would have to have perfect pitch to sing those chord progressions a capella. I guess we are all doomed. Do you think we should warn family and friends about the singing/humming of Open Toes? It's quite catchy, but that's what will make it popular.

Open Toes is a total guilty pleasure song...and it does get stuck in your head fast...I think because the beat is so infectious and the way she sings it is so...catchy.

Kat's Comment to me:

"Lauren,
don't worry about your gift and not getting on time. That is sooo sweet but you didn't have to do that. I really appreciate it. I read your comment and it really touched me. I'm happy you enjoyed your first season of Idol. I mostly thank you for all your support. It means more than anything. I just love that people are enjoying the music. Keep in touch and thanks again. Cute page too!
