Hi, everyone. First of all, thanks to all the people who have posted elimination shows. I'm from Perú, I love the show and I looove Kat. I have been always looking for the elimination shows, mostly because we've watch them edited.

I've download the ones you've posted, but I was wondering if anyone have the top 8 elimination week, the one where Mandisa left. I would love to have that one, because I think that day Kat looked particulary beautiful. I loved her, the way she laughed (when being in the same group with Ace and Bucky and the three of them have already been in the bottom 3, she might thought she was going to be there that week too), the way she saw Mandisa when she was eliminated, the way she danced, everything. She just glowed.

So, please, if anyone could post it for me, I would be forever greatful.

Kellie looked crushed. I often wonder if she felt guilty surviving. I don't know why. Kraddick comments notwithstanding, I think Kellie went out at just about the right place IMO. In fact, I can think of a couple more who could have left before her.

McAddict07, Top 8 results coming soon. I put up Top 9 results first because it was only a 1/2 hour episode and I didn't have time to do a 1hr episode upload tonight. (The View part 1 took a loooong time to upload. But that's another story)

hi, i'm sorry, i downloaded the link you post, differentlife, but my media player couldn't play it. seems some codes are missing, and i really don't know how to make it work. it's a shame, because i really wanted that specific night results, and i was going to download the rest that you've posted, but i guess it would be worthless. could someone explain me what i have to do, or were can i find these again? or maybe, be so kind to post them again. i'm sorry for the inconveniences.

Hi Anita,
If CRB's suggestion doesn't work, I would try VLC Player next.

I have some info on using VLC player or Media Player Classic in this thread:

in the post called Media Viewing/Listening tips. VLC is a good general player to have. You can copy it onto a flash drive and run it on other computers without having to install codecs, especially good for computers you don't have administrative access to.

i downloaded the Xvid from CRB and it's ok, but when i try to play the video again it doesn't work, so i was guessing if i would have to download the video again?
when i tried to download both programs differentlife suggested i just couldn't. i get stucked.
i'm sorry i'm bothering you with this, i just want to see the show!!!
anyway, as i said, i'll try tomorrow from work, because i believe my computer at work is better than the one at home.

Okay, when you say the video doesn't work:

1. Do you mean that a video player opens with no picture but you do  have sound?

If the file starts to play and you have sound but no picture.  Then that link for the XviD codec should solve you problem.  For that link to work you must first download the codec and then run the program too.  If you downloaded it and saw the file with this name: XviD-1.1.0-30122005.exe and ran it then the codec should be on your computer and you should have video.

2.  Or does the file  not play at all, meaning no player opens at all?

If the file does not play at all. then trying  one of the freeware video players might solve the problem, I've uploaded one  to  Sendspace so you don't have to search for it.

3. If the first two suggestions don't work than there is a remote possiblility that the file was corrupted during download. This likely is not the problem if you have complete downloads of multiple different  files.   If they are ~175MB or ~350MB then you have the complete files.

4. Insure that MPC is indeed opening the files instead of your default player.  You can do this by:

a.  Running MPC

b. Clicking File at the top left corner of the MPC window

c. Go down menu to the Open File  and click it

d. Click Browse button and navigate  to the location on your computer of the video  file that you want to watch.

e. Click on the file to highlight it and go to the bottom of the window and click the Open button.

f. Finally click the OK button on this  last window

g. The file should play now.

I hope this works for you.

yes!!! thanks very much, CRB. I couldn't see the file at all, not video nor sound. the file helped me a lot and i could finally saw the result show i wanted. I just have this little tiny inconvenient: i don't know if the file of the show that differentlife posted was complete. i just watch it (with the media player classic) and it run just until the part where kenny rogers started to sing. I don't know if the link that was post was just until that part, or maybe i've downloaded the file in the wrong way, ehich might be the reason i've been having so many problems, in which case, some of would be wanting to kill me for making you loose your time.
so, i've be greatful to know if the show was complete or just until that part.

The entire file is 173 MB in size and has a playtime of 21 minutes and 4 seconds. You have approximately  the first quarter or so of the show judging by where you say the cut off occurred. Time for you to start another download, anita.

ok, i kind of understand now what was going on. i'm at work now, and i tried to download the file again, the top 9 results show, and the download ended before it should. i guess the same thing happened at home but i didn't relise it because i wasn't in front of the computer the whole time, but now that i'm at work and i have to stay by the computer almost all the time, i noticed what was happening. it ended a lot sooner than it should, so when i tried to open the file that completed, it didn't work, which was the same thing that happened at home. I have download another files, like the top 11 results show, without any problem. so, could the problem have to do with the file itself? if it's so, differentlife, would you be kind enough to post it again, please?

Hi, I'm very happy, I have almost every result show that has been posted. Please, does anyone have the one where Melissa ws gone, top 12. I like her a lot.
And, if it's not too much to ask for, I would love to have the ones from the semi finals - Top 24, Top 20 and Top 16, and the one when Chris was gone.

For the people having problems with quicksharing:
- Certain links always give problems (always cutoff early)?
or
- Some links cutoff before finishing, but if you quick trying the same link, it eventually works?

I noticed that if I get a very slow rate (slower than normal), I can cancel it, wait til later and then try again and I can get a faster download rate.

I've tested some other upload sites with long expiration periods, but they're worse. A lot of times the upload just dies. Really frustrating for those two or three hour uploads.

I'll try to keep the uploads of these results shows coming, but for now since some are >300MB, I'm sticking with quicksharing. Hopefully, if others grab them from there, they can reupload for other people. Like CRB did when he put up the Top9 results show on Sendspace. Thanks!
