Shouldn't this clip be banned under the "privacy" rule?

Why? It's not paparazi, it was a semi-public performance.

This was available on youtube at one time--though thanks to Matt for providing the new link. I and some others gave some info on the song and the Broadway show this was from back in June when it was first found. It's from Stephen Sondheim's complex 'Company.' I can see why they studied that musical when Kat was in Boston Cons.--because the plot was innovatively complex for the time (early 70's)--plus complex songs that show your ability to entertain an audience without annoying them to death.

People back in June kept remarking how much more weight Kat had on at the time. I never did think she looked that way at all...and still don't when viewing it again. She's a perfect, healthy weight now of course--but she still looked perfectly acceptable back then too. And, remember, she's the girl on the left...not in the chair. Some people still get confused which blonde is which.

Let's all hope Kat's thrown out any blonde hair dye long ago. Though it was needed for the part--her brunetteness needs to always be on display if at all possible. Despite the matching blondes, Kat is quite obviously the most talented performer and voice in the trio. I'm sure that wasn't lost on anybody in the audience either.

It makes you wonder if Kat would ever take on a real-life revival of a musical like this on Broadway. I'd imagine any musical she studied in college would want to be avoided in a real world stage career for fear of flashbacks that may not be all pleasant. Then again, it'd save a lot of time in learning a new part. But I bet she's worked out her own singing style on numerous Broadway parts in her head for years now, which would probably wow any producer.
