"American Idol" finalist KATHARINE McPHEE joined the ladies of ABC's "The View" as a guest co-host on Thursday.

Now that we got it cleared up, there was no HD cap of The View for Katharine's pre Idols Live Tour co-hostng gig and SOTR performance because the show wasn't broadcast in HD at the time.
Just fyi zarut mpeg2 is a compressed format too, it really isn't "uncompressed". Broadcast quality? Yes. Less compressed than say, DivX? Sure. But still very much compressed. The only reason I could think why anyone would want this SDTV broadcast in mpeg would be for the purpose of converting it to some other format, say ipod, because conversions, especially for a full 40 minutes like this coots gig was, are much tidier files and don't loose much if anything vis-à-vis the original. I'm fairly certain the mpeg was never posted here or anywhere else. My local ABC affiliate carries the SDTV shows on a HDTV signal so it ends up looking like (black bars) the I Have Nothing at the Carousel of Hope that I posted from Access Hollywood, namely a humongous bloated file with a slightly blurry image quality.
I don't know of any other community that has as much HD available as the Kat media forums at KMF. The Superior Pics board is a decent source if your favorite is an attractive female, other than that it is pretty useless. You could monitor the IDF forums for clips, I'm sure that some crop up there from time to time. Although I will confess, I've never ventured into the Blake Lewis forum in search of clips and any HD media links from AI6 are likely long dead since the "take rate" on files of that size is extremely low.

If you need a reason why I love the MPEG-2 version the most. Well, it's because sometime people prefer the raw version of the video so they can edit the video themselves..... I'm talking about when it comes to trade videos with other people. Some people do not like the videos that have already been edited so I just have to give them another option.
That's why I thought the raw version is probably the best version that you can get out there.
