Moreover, I'd be really happy to have the JC Penny Live performance in full HD.When was that performance anyway? How come I never heard of such thing?
What songs did she perform?
Welcome to KMF, zarut! The JCPenney Jam was a charity event taped shortly after Kat's Idol run and broadcast on CBS. Kat sang "Somios Novios" (a duet with Andrea Bocelli) and "Over the Rainbow."

Welcome! Have you tried some of those megaupload workaround sites? You enter the megaupload link at another website and are able to download that way. I can't remember the sites but a few fans from outside the US suggested them as a way to download from megaupload when they couldn't download directly.
Megaupload has a really strict rule on download slot limit. Sometime, I could only download one file per day.
Since I have already spent so much money on Black Friday, I cannot really afford to pay to become a premium member.
That's why I'm not really a big fan of Megaupload like I was before in the past,
I want to make sure I understand so bear with me. Plus, this might help others, since you already know some of this.
The 2 big controls that megaupload has for free registered accounts and anonymous accounts:
#1. Each country has a limited number of download slots. Basically, the number of people who can download at once. The notice you get says something like, "All slots assigned to your country are in use, try again later"
#2. Each IP address can download only a certain amount per hour/day.
2 is usually easy to workaround. Just reset your internet connection, assuming you're dynamically assigned an IP.
#1 can be worked around using the proxy method I mentioned. For example:
Go to the following site: http://www.guardster.com/subscription/proxy_free.php Input the MegaUpload download link in the Address text box. (where you will see http:// in the box) Uncheck (Unselect) all the options, like No Cookies, No Scripts, No Images, Hide Referrer, Hide User Agent, Hide Title, Hide Header. Click on the button “I agree and wish to surf anonymously”.
Shamelessly ripped from http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/06/01/disable-and-bypass-megaupload-country-download-slots-limit/
Is #1 the problem you're having? If guardster doesn't work, there should be others out there. Obviously, beware of malicious proxies.
Uploaders, we have special needs. Well, you know how it is. Megaupload is great for large files. 500MB files, queued uploads, resumed uploads. The last thing I want is for an upload to die after 3 hours. ouch.
Hopefully the proxy helps. Let me know
Anytime you are using a proxy site to present a false IP address to another web location you take a risk that the provider of that "hide behind" service isn't maliciously filtering your data for information that they can sell or use directly to turn a buck (or some really sick people just do it for fun) of because every packet of data that you send out goes to their server and back out again.
Here is another alternative that I know people have used successfully:
http://hideu.net/
Is this hideu "safe"? I don't know if anything on the Internet is safe. I know that people who couldn't use MegaUpload at IDF successfully got files that they couldn't previously access using this proxy service site...that I do know.
diff wasn't talking about GuardStar being malicious, he was saying that some alternatives to GuardStare certainly are. People who use proxy IPs for all their internet activity (which I do not and do not recommend) should be very concerned about security and privacy issues.
Have you ever tried accessing Sendspace through a proxy site as mentioned in the previous posts. I've heard that they really do work quite well, generally. One of those two we do currently have an alternate host for.
Big Shady has Vinman's DivX version of I Believe I Can Fly up at Stage 6.
I Believe I Can Fly @ Stage 6
You can download it from there, davorsite.
On Somos Novios, I don't see that up anywhere right now, other than my Sendspace upload. I'll put it on my "To Do" list and add Vinman's version to my Stage 6 account at some point. I don't mind adding DivX files to my Stage 6 account because people who want only to stream it (and hate YouTube's garbage quality) can do that in HQ from there, specifically, it adds something to the mix rather than creating a redundant high maintenance link.
differentlife mentioned earlier, rather gently as is his way, about uploading and trying to help people find a solution for problems with a particular file host (be it RapidShare, MegaUpload or SendSpace) rather than reuploading a file already uploaded. My general rule is the downloader has to find a way to get the file. I have well over 30 GB of content up at various sites and my time is better spent maintaining the uploads that I have and creating new content (like the HD Kat stuff I'm working on now) rather than rehosting already uploaded files for a lone person with a problem with a host.
As CRB says, proxies can filter the traffic. They can also inject data into that file you're downloading. "That altered AVI played in MPC delivered me a virus!" Short of uploaders publishing checksums of their files, you have no way to know the file or other traffic is unaltered.
You can do the following. Probably won't work if your ISP ties MAC to IP. It expires your DHCP lease on your computer and requests a new one. Turn off modem For XP/2000, Start > Run > cmd ipconfig /release Turn on modem. Wait until it's booted completely ipconfig /renew If that doesn't work, your options are: * leave your computer off until the DHCP server decides to expire the lease on its side. This can take many days or weeks. Next! * use a proxy as mentioned above. Easy, risky * try a router that allows MAC address cloning so the modem sees a different MAC and hopefully gives a different IP. Safe, requires research on your part, not guaranteed t
