I read a review and it didnt say anything out of the ordinary but I heard from a fellow Kat fan that people were shouting bad thing from the crowd to her and Kat cried, dont know if this has any truth to it cause like I said I havent read anything about it but I sure would like to see the vids from the Georgia concert. If this is true I will be very upset..

Hecklers should quickly be shown the door, IMO. These are supposed to be "family" concerts. I heard that some serious alcohol comsuption was involved in this case too.

I'm sure Kelly sitting this one out didn't help the disposition of the natives either.  A lot of Kelly fans felt blindsided by the news.

Yeah, I heard there were some drunks making troubles last night. Don't know what the detail is though. Why do they sell alcohol inside the concert is beyond me. They think it's a bar or what?

I don't believe that story - not because I don't believe that some yahoos might behave that way but because I don't believe Katharine would cry about it, she'd tell them what for. She has had such a great reception elsewhere that she knows any hecklers are a minority.

That story is not true. I saw on the Idol forums that someone went to the Duluth, GA concert and he said it was awesome. But Kellie Pickler was sick, so she couldn't perform. Katharine still sang two songs because of her broken foot.

What I read was on Idol Forums too and I think the thread must of gotten spiked because I just searched the two forums I read and it wasn't in either one of them.

Paraphrase: Person went to Duluth concert and said Kat was awesome and some guys were drunk (from onsite beer/wine sales ) and saying some nasty stuff and when the reviewer said something in defense of Kat they dumped beer on him/her. Reviewer also said Kat appeared to be crying but they weren't sure it was from the hecklers or just emotion from singing.

Or something like that. Not much of a concert review but given the anti-Kat crap that I read on the I-net it is just a matter of time before some of this hatred results in Kat having face down an A-hole or two.

I also heard that people were trying to get onto the stage last night also. So on my next concert tour I'm going to avoid Duluth, sorry you Duluthians will have to go to Atlanta to see me. LOL

This is a really sweet updated from a Taylor fan, Shooting Star, posted on the AI board regarding her Altanta concert tour experience.

I was there. I was sitting or rather standing and screaming, right in the front row, dead center. Kat along with each other Idol was standing just a few feet in front of me as they performed (when they weren't moving around of course)

First I want to say I am a Taylor fan, or so I believed. I now can say without a doubt that I love each and every one of them. I am so proud of all these young people. I had the best time of my life last night!

Now for Kat. I met Kat before the show at the meet and greet along with all the other Idols. When I got to Kat I looked into her eyes and saw just how vulnerable she truly is. Now I admit I have seen and read and heard alot of negative comments about her. I have tried my best not to fall into judging her myself. But last night as I looked at her, I saw a truly beautiful young girl who is very very vulnerable. There is a sadness in her eyes that you just don't see in pictures or on TV. But in person? It was like looking into a fawn's eyes. That might sound corny and I apologize if it does. But something touched my heart immed
