Thnx Joe for posting the vid clips! Hey, Maddie you mean you caught these on your cell phone. I hope you were able to enjoy her performances while busily trying to record them yourself. Thnx so much.  I especially like your catching close ups of Kat on this one:

Thanks Maddie and Joe! In the first video under Not UR Girl about half way through you can see where she recognized me and stopped there for a second. Of course I was so excited I started talking to her,and certainly realized afterwards that was not a good idea since she was singing!!. lol! . It was great to see her again and she looked TERRIFIC! .LINDA

well i wish i could enjoy her performances and not take pics, maybe next time, if she permits us a next time. it was just really great to see her perform again. sorry you didn't make it down there with us.

but in answer to your question, i took those with my digital camera not a cellphone. glad you enjoyed the closeup, it got crazy for a minute there when she moved down in front, as you can see.

Now I wonder what that guy driving the getaway cart was thinking when Kat griped to him about the bad earpiece. I think he's just a (retired volunteer) driver...unless he's running the whole show. 

Thanks, Joe (and Maddie) for all the vids. That float is charming--and somehow reflective of a Macy's holiday display on their main floor. And Kat seemed to really be enjoying herself before getting a slightly irked expression later when the earpiece went ballistic. I don't get it with Kat's bad experiences with those things. Does she have an earpiece hex--or do other artists have just as much trouble? Actually, I know a lot of artists have trouble with those things...especially on 'AI' as well as at events like this. The audio industry must buy their earpieces from China.

Fun to see the homey atmosphere of the area there (i.e. a Hollywood Video right in behind the Christmas float). I'm somewhat of a fan of small community parades like this, even though I expected it to be on a slightly large scale. The less corporate it is, though, the better in my mind. And that's said with the prerequisite "other than Macy's Thankgiving Day Parade."

The Mother Goose Parade's home page (www.mothergooseparade.org) says the parade will be shown on Cox ch. 4 and Time Warner ch. 12 on 12/15 and 12/25 at 8:00am-10:00am. Their banner also includes a pic of Kat waving from the float.

Bump for the San Diegans. The 15th is on Saturday...

EDIT: Grrrr, now the only broadcast date listed is for Christmas Day. It does say to check back for other broadcast times...
