diff, I think he (she?) just switched to a screen name with two "r's" in it. The intent was to be Entrepreneur in the first place, I believe, and it was a typo rather then stylizing. Reminds me a bit of winds of justice, except with videos !
I thought Cody was a bit wooden during the song, but he certainly gave Kat a hearty squeeze when it was over.
I'd love to hear Kat sing with Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr., or Steve Tyrell.
This Sendspace link is working and I was finally able to download it properly. Thanks again CRB!
Another David Foster discovery? For someone who's considered by some industry curmudgeons as an anachronism in the music industry--he may still be THE producer and discoverer of talent for the year. This (or 2008) may be his biggest year since his days with Whitney and Celine. That is, if the truth holds up he's taking on Kat and her second album.
Yes, Cody sounds a bit like Josh Groban (same deep, warm vocal tone)--but he falls under that popular Popera format that DF knows how to market to the hilt. CK will likely have a hit debut album along with Josh Groban and Michael Buble more recently. Really, David Foster is still burning up the charts with albums he produces--right alongside the evolving Hip-Hop and bubblegum pop albums. Celine Dion changing sounds and producers may have missed the boat.
Assuming Cody Karey also signs at Warner (I think David owns a stake in Warner, which explains why all his artists record through their subsidiaries)--it's more likely to hear Kat and Cody duet on a CD. But, as with some of you, I'd rather hear Kat do an ENTIRE album of duets with Bocelli. That probably won't happen because of Bocelli's scheduling conflicts and possible unsurity such a thing would sell well. I know it would--even though it could be just too much for some people. At least DF has Bocelli in his inner circle on an irregular basis for some limited Kat/Andrea collabs later.
On Cody and Kat's blend: Amazing at times. It was wise of Kat to back off like that to showcase the guy's voice. This was his debut...so a smart and consciencious duet partner would automatically do that.
Oh, and forget about Ryan's blurting of "S&%#!" What up with the cameraman blurting a "Holy C" right when Kat and Cody came out on stage?
Thanks again skarey7@youtube and Entrepreneur! I worked on the youtube audio to try to restore the quality to a higher level. The original audio wasn't that bad so I don't know if it's an improvement! At least I learned a new real-time audio editor that'll save me time! (oh sad the things that make me w00t) AUDIO Stereoized version, EQ http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DQB52J2K www.divshare.com/download/2710639-905 VIDEO Edited audio merged into CRB's AVI conversion (thanks dude!). The non-performance part was left with the original audio. Whole vid: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y40EIAJJ Starts with The Prayer and runs to the end: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N9XVC4SV I wonder if the source video was in stereo and just how much quality was lost in the youtube translation? hmm... I can dream.
Tanks, Media Dude! I have a ¥ for Kat media. <=== And that was a shameless attempt to integrate those new cool KMF characters into a post. Some are worse than others is is a matter of °.
