Cool! It's nice to hear Katharine singing "The Prayer" with decent audio, finally. Cody sang well for just having to spend 14 hours on a plane.

Nice touch, Ryan - dropping an expletive at a young musician's conference.

Thanks so much! What a treat for a Monday morning! It was interesting to see Katharine in the position of being "the one with experience" encouraging a very talented "newcomer"!

David Foster continues to be a "blessing and visionary" with his abilities to discover, encourage and promote new talent! Young Cody Karey is amazing! His exposure by singing with Kat and the clip being posted on YouTube is bound to do great things for his career! Let's hope that Katharine will be able to have David produce and even write something for her. What a gift that would be for her fans!

The performance of "The Prayer" was good, but in my mind and heart, will never equal Katharine and Andre Bocelli's duet of same. There was such a freshness and ethereal quality to their version of the song.

Again, thank you so much for posting. You are making a great addition to the "family" here at Katharinefans.com!

Think I died and went to heaven!!This is a wonderful duet ! Cody reminds me of Josh Groban.Kat's voice is so pure and totally beautiful...and she generously tried not to overpower the young guy.
This performance makes me realize how I've missed hearing that amazing distinctive Kat sound...what a gift it is!Thank you for this and welcome here,Entrepeneur!!!!

Frustration Gone!
I was having a very frustrating day today, nothing seemed to go right, I kept making minor mistakes and of course my technical instructor gives me a very boring lecture on what I can to do improve myself.
BUT THIS RIGHT HERE HEALED ALL OF THE WOUNDS!
Oh my God if that doesn't put you in a very very happy mood then I don't know what will. I feel like I am soaring right now through the skies and the voices are taking me to a place where I can forget all of my problems and just Zone out.

Hands down I put this brilliant duet up with the magic of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and I'm sorry to say it but I think this surpasses the Meatloaf  duet during the AI Finale.

I'm going to listen to it again because now I got that song stuck in my head.

us for a Kat blockbuster--He has won Fourteen Grammy's,and just watch out.

I lost it. I admit it I lost it. It is the most beautiful duet of The Prayer that I have heard. Thank you so very much for posting it. It comes just in time for I have been missing Kat for a long long time now. Thanks again. That is superb with a capital S.

Thank you so much Entrepeneur for posting this for us! It was great to see Kat sing again, and this was a real treat!. It was a wonderful duet, and Kat sounded amazing. It's funny that I had watched the video of Bocelli and Kat singing this a few days ago and was reminded of how beautiful it was too.. She changed it up a little this time, and it was interesting that she was the experienced one working with someone new. LINDA

I really like it when Kat sings duets. I'd have to rank this one below her others (Somios Novios at the JCPenney Jam is my fave, then IACBTMN and TOML), as I don't like "The Prayer" that much. Cody must have been nervous singing with a full orchestra for the first time and a (soon-to-be) gold-selling recording artist. Kat also had to hold back some vocally and presentation-wise, since Cody's only 16 - jailbait!

ken on IDF found that Katharine also sang Over the Rainbow. We need to find this performance!

just speculation...but do u think kat and cody might end up singing a recorded duet...possibly for cody's album. im sure he's going to be coming out w/ one. but maybe they might record a duet on the album..?

o and one more thing...did i hear strong traces of a celine-esque voice from kat?? mainly in the middle. sounded a lot like celine. hehe starting at around 3:20 going through. not as much at the end. but i heard it. lol

Listening to David Foster's new talent, young Cody Karey reminded me of Josh Groban!!  As good as this was,  I'm dreaming that Kat will be a surprise guest and sing "The Prayer" again at Bocelli's coming concert in San Jose, Dec. 2nd!!!
