I've returned from a journey through the mystical world of audio/video and brought these back. New and improved AVIs! On a computer monitor these look better than the source mpgs. How can that be? First the files, with bonus MP3s.

* These vids should be close to the original recordings (the actual recording by the camera in the studio not the cable TV video) in terms of smoothness and clarity. I'm a little surprised that Sessions are recorded on film. Quality over cost savings! So rare in today's world.

Panning is now smooth, for example at ~0:20 of Over It. For you screenshotters, nearly all frames are clear (except for the occasional single interlaced frame between changes in shots. my bad). All is harmonious in the a/v world. Thanks Donald Graft aka neuron2, A/V master, for a lot of software Shady and I use. DGmpgdec/DGindex, DGdecomb. Excellent stuff.

Basically the original film (24 fps) has to be crappified to be able to show it on TV (30 fps). Some jerkiness (telecine judder) and blurring are introduced. Of course, this all happens well before it even gets to Shady's or anyone else's cable box.

The cool thing is you can reverse the telecining crappification steps (inverse telecine, IVTC) to restore the original frames. These AVIs are close to the original 24 fps film material.

For computer viewing, I think these inverse telecined AVIs should be the toppers. Not sure about TV viewing. MPGs may be better for TV.

All this not possible without Shady's raw mpgs used as source since the usual converted AVIs can't be inverse telecined. Thanks Big guy for taking the time to upload those very large files! (And CRB for asking for them!)
