Some brief but good footage there from the BMI event--so thanks for putting that together, Diff. Not only do you see Kat singing 'You Should Be Dancing'--but she does one of those John Travolta dance moves from 'Saturday Night Fever' during one of the fly-by clips. Yes, Kat definitely chose that dress because of the retro patterns from the 1970's as she says here. In fact, if you see old video clips of the Bee Gees from their peak period of the mid to late 70's--they pretty much have Kat's hair style too. Long hair and beards seemed to really be in through most of the 70's decade. Speaking of which, it was interesting to see Robin Gibb there with Barry accepting the award. He used to be known for his flowing locks too...but he's lost a lot of hair in recent years. Here, it looks like he may have gotten some hair transplants to alleviate that. Kat can be SEEN singing 'Immortality' there--but the narrators talk right over it so you can't hear anything. So we'll just have to wait if she might by chance perform it somewhere in coming weeks. It'd be interesting to hear Kat cover a few Bee Gees songs...even the dance classics. She probably saw Blake performing 'You Should Be Dancing.' There you have it: Kat officially endorses Jordin as the winner of 'AI' this year in those media clips. I think she's right. And I hope they become good friends to maybe record something together down the road. They'll likely be working at RCA together for a while...assuming Kat stays with RCA for the near term.

She wore it much more natural than I'm used to seeing it. Much more like in the 70's. I think that's her natural wave too.
