Hi media gurus, I came across Kat's song 'You Could Drive A Person Crazy' that was done at the Boston Conservatory for the play.. 'Crazy'?

Anyway, I have the audio of it, if anyone needs it, it's here. It's at Kat-media.com, right-click and save target as.

Anyway, I was hoping someone could rip the video file of this for me.. please?

I believe this song is from Sondheim's Broadway show,Company and Kat had a bit part in film,Crazy!Kat does a great job with this number...not an easy one to sing..the potential is all there!

^Yep, that's from Sondheim's 'Company'--and they were probably doing that as a graded performance considering how much they were putting into it. It's a pretty wacky number, but a well-known one from that show. The show is actually quite innovative in its plot structure and usually widely studied in college. I'm sure Kat wasn't crazy about performing that, but you can see who the star is going to be on that stage. Even with blond hair, she stands out from the other two girls. Apologies if those two other girls are looking in right now.

That indie 'Crazy' movie will probably never get released according to some reports we heard earlier this year. I have a feeling we'd probably blink on that one and miss Kat's cameo...if she wasn't ultimately cut in the final print. Cameos like that frequently end up on the cutting-room floor. On the other hand, once this movie does get a release on DVD or wherever...they'll probably play up Kat being in it and/or restore the scene for promotional purposes. It's not the first time a movie would play up an actress who appeared briefly in a scene and later became a big star.

Sorry, Yuv--I have no capability of ripping the audio from that 'YCDaPC' clip...but I'm sure our media techies will do it for you.

I agree on it being a wacky number, my brother has gone mad listening to it... he's now howling the song in the most horrible tone I've ever heard..

The lead singer in this  Boston Conservatory video is  Haley Evans who I assume left Boston Conservatory at some point too, because one of the YouTube comments say that everyone at University of Montevallo, a liberal arts college in Alabama, is so proud of her.  She was still listed in productions at Montevallo as of fall 2006. In fact this was on the U of M website:


Haley Evans is in the back with the blue shirt.

 Kat has said Boston Conservatory  is super  expensive so I guess a lot of the student body runs out of money before they graduate.   It is supposed to be one, if not the, best programs for musical theater.

LOL In the beginning did Kat say "You son of a bitch"? LOL I loved the attitude and facial expression she made when she said that. The harmonizing of the 3 girls was very good and pitch was perfect. Kat looked beautiful even there, she didn't look overweight, she looked as beautiful as she always does.
