Hey trippy and CRB. I recall a streamed file (I think it was yet another trippy rip, a MOV?) that couldn't be synced. With this new method I'm using, I thought I'd give it a try, but I can't remember what it was a video of. And I can't seem to find the darned thing. Do you remember?

Thanks for all the downloads of the YHA coverage. I managed to watch all of them in the last hour--and it's still quite obvious that Kat outshines just about any of those younger stars walking the carpet. And there's a lot of shiny, happy young stars there...who actually may be the best of the younger Hollywood generation. Dakota Fanning alone is probably the biggest (in a small package) treasure of the young actresses.

Interesting seeing they also honor an older "legend" there, too, to keep a connective thread between the generations. This time it appeared to be James Caan who may not have been there had it not been for that stint on 'Las Vegas.' I applaud the guy for walking away from that show, though, to be with his family more often.

You may have noticed Kat saying in one of those (I think the Access Hollywood) that she felt it was too soon for her to start winning awards. Well, I think we'd all disagree with that...even though these kind of awards are just symbols of being even more exciting of a vocalist in future years. Interesting, too, that the precursor awards to the bigger awards have smoother edges to them rather than the major awards. I think someone intended for someone's eye to get poked out (or worse: their seat jabbed ) by the sharp, pointy edges of the majors. I guess a Grammy is the least dangerous...though seemingly the most breakable as I saw once when someone dropped one on the floor. The most dangerous with a sharp, pointy top: The American Music Award.

For the casual Katharine McPhee fan none are must haves.  For the archiving Kat lunatics that frequent this board all are must haves.  There isn't much in the way of file size MB there.  Just get them all, watch them,  and then put them into a file marked Young Hollywood Awards 2007.  I wouldn't get the FLV because I'm pretty sure it would play on a MAC anyway.  The rest are top quality, the avi conversion of the FLV is limited because the source was mediocre.
