Thanks to Stephanie at IDF I'm just going to post the whole thread from IDF, we are getting so much media I don't have time to go through it all. I as well met Kat, pretty much the same way everyone else did haha... and I also got some pictures (not sure how many came out good ) and I also have a couple of videos!! She is so amazingly beautiful and gorgeous up close... I couldnt believe it!! I sort-of got a pic of me and her together and I also got her autograph!! if anyone wants I can type up a review, but itll probably be the same as everyone else's Overall I had an amazing time, Katharine was amazing and I really enjoyed it all! I still have to organize all my stuff (pictures and videos) which I should have them up soon, there are a few good ones of the meet and greet thingy, which Im sure you guys will like!! Okay so here my review, pictures and Videos I added it into this post so everyone can see it on the first post!! My Review Okay I have some time and I finished uploading everything so Ill start off with my review!! I got to the auditions at 8:30ish this morning (so I could figure out where Kat was gonna be and to check it all out) and not a whole lot of people were there (to see just the performances, tons were there for the auditions but they were all locked up ) so I got a really good spot... where I could see good and everything!! Anyways I forget the first group that performed but there werent too bad I didnt mind them (they are just a group from Vancover) they sang about 4 songs, and then about 15-20min after Eva Avila came onstage!! I thought she did well!! I enjoyed her performances, but she only sang 2 songs (I thought she might do 4) but she has a concert tonight so I figured she might be saving her vocals or something!! Anyways as we were waiting for Kat I took a look around and all I saw was Nick! haha I was like "OMGosh its Nick Kat's boyfriend!" I was excited I made everyone look over and trying to figure out who I was looking at... so then he went into the crowd and blended in with everyone as Katharine made the stage!! She was so amazing and it sounded like (to me anyways) that she had the most screams!!! Im pretty sure everyone else recapped the concert bit (I cant exactly remember everything haha) so after the concert I ran over to the side (where I saw Nick) and Kat started walking with TONS of people all around her and TONS of fans running on the outside of the fence (I was one of them lol)she signed about 2 things and took about 1 picture with a girl... I tried to get her autograph then but she booted it with her media people ......and Nick into the Hard Rock cafe building (where she went to do press and interviews) so a few of us waited and waited until someone told us she would be a couple of hours until she was finished... well Im a trooper and I could have waited all day... so I waited with everyone else for about 2 hours we started waiting at 10:30am until about 12:20 or so, but it was so worth it!! as we were waiting tho my friend (who doesnt really know who Kat is and has no idea who Nick is, until I showed her) saw Nick standing in the upstairs window she asked if that was Nick, and I looked up and it was! I saw more of him then Kat! he seems like a good guy tho! when she came out I aksed her if we could take a pic with her and she said sure (but everything got turned upside down) my friend dissapeared and the guy who took that 1 pic was crazy for Kat so you could only imagine so he rushed taking it, and radname (on here) luckily took a pic of me and her (thank you so much again) so I do have a picture! and then I didnt here what else she said as she worked her way down the line and got into her ride!! I sure wish the people taking these videos would do something for those poor condenser microphones because they just can't take the sound pressure levels of the bass notes. You would think that somebody would have figured it out by now. I mean after all the good video from the Idol Tour that had horrendous sound...oh, well thanks for the pics Phee.

I'd blame the manufacturers for not supplying instructions and some kind device to put on the mic. If you are just taking the video, you don't know how it is going to turn out until you play it back and then you don't know how to fix the problem anyway.

Amazing you can get a candid close-up of Kat like that...and have it be a real keeper. You could put a microscope to the epidermis of her skin to continually prove how flawless her skin (and features) are when that up close. Thanks, Simon, for bringing all those reviews and links here to Kat's stage performances for 'CI' this weekend. I had to laugh seeing the picture of her keyboard player on stage and how he wasn't a happy camper being out in the freezing cold. Kat's pretty sensitive to cold too, but she's obviously learned how to perform in it without looking like she's dying of frostbite. Though those of us who play pianos and keyboard know how hard it is to play when your fingers feel like they're numb from frigid temps. Wearing gloves isn't something you can do too easily either when playing a keyboard...though it is workable for some people. Kat's performances here were outstanding as usual. From this person's vids, however, it seemed the crowd wasn't paying attention all that much until she really started getting into it. Several people are seen mulling around and talking to one another as Kat started out the quieter passages of 'Home.' Then, when she started getting to more intense sections, people finally started paying attention. It wasn't obviously easy for people to stand out there in the freezing cold to hear Kat sing four songs. But I hope everybody there thought it was worth it. I certainly would have...if I didn't have to play keyboards with her on stage. That black overcoat Kat wears always looks stylish on her. She wore that a few times on the streets of the frigid NYC back in January--along with that same scarf I think. Yes, the sound is bad on these vids (Kat's high notes are so overmodulated, the beauty of her voice is wiped out)--though it still gave me a "you are there" feeling.
