Don't get too excited! This is video of the TV performance, literally (He/She took a video of their TV). And only half of the show. Picture isn't bad, sound not great. Found it on refugees, the other half may showup today:

Finally got the dang thing to work, after clicking every button on the page. I get the feeling that she's really nervous when she starts a live interview like that, but as she sits and talks awhile, if she starts to feel more at home with the interviewer she starts to relax. Unfortunately by that time it's time to stop. It seems to make her feel better when she sees something like the girl with "I love Kat" written on her forehead because it helps her feel the support from the crowd. But I don't think she's quite come to terms with the fact that fans find out everything and remember every little thing she says and does, so if she doesn't want to do things like cartoon voices on national television, she'll have to be very careful what she says. (right about here is where I go look for that little icon of a flying pig, I think)

And this may be totally out of left field, but there was something about Matt(? the interviewer) that reminded me just a tad of the red shirted guy in her video. I wonder if she picked him because he reminded her of "Kevin" too.

Thanks for the videos! I think that that was the funniest Kat interview I've ever seen! I don't know exactly why...but it really amused me for some reason...

Every time I watch one of these Kat interviews,my face hurts from smiling so much!!Kat is just so funny and candid!! I swear,Kat could charm anyone and must be leaving a trail of smitten show hosts since she started doing these interviews !!

Matt the interviewer reminded her of yet another ex love, Nate which could have been part of the reason for the initial nervousness, plus the fact she was in a foreign country and I think was a little overwhelmed that she has a huge fanbase in an international setting.

I don't think matt intimidated her in the slightest, no matter who he looked like. She manages to charm guys like him all the time. I think it's just "Omigod I'm becoming an international star!" or something. I still get the feeling that every so often, even though she wants this badly and is enjoying it greatly, something inside her whispers something like "Do you realize the whole world is watching!" and something else catches its breath and goes "A-a-h-h-h-h-h!!!"

Anybody else get the feeling that this was the absolutely spaciest interview you've ever seen? Do you suppose she had to have a few of those teeny little airline bottles of something or other to soothe the anguish over not being able to bring Nena? Or the heartbreak of jetlag? (Or C, all of the above.) I don't know what was funnier, discussing the ebb and flow in size of certain body parts, or Matte teasing her about her feet when she took off her shoes ("You've got something on your foot there..." - "A-a-h-h-h!" - "You've got something on there..." - "What is it, fungus?") I nearly fell off my chair laughing. I mean honestly, you couldn't make up stuff like this. Well, I could, if I ever got going on fanfic again, but reality is surpassing fantasy these days. Why bother?

OMG she is soooo funny....that was the cutest interview ever...i love it when she's spontaneous like this and doesn't think carefully before she talks...that's what makes her so damn cute and fun...

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA can you imagine...."uh, you can't bring that on the plane"...."well, someone said i could..."....so that means someone had to stay behind and take Nena home.....(fun scene at the airport...)

I think the ebb and flow of body parts was the funniest....I have no clue what she's talking about ....to my knowledge they would only grow (and then shrink) by several cup sizes if you wore a smash bra.....

And the other funny comment was that she 'probably scared off Steven Speilberg' because she talked too much in their meeting!! "I wanna do this and then this and this"....I can only imagine.."I wanna star in Wicked, then a remake of Pretty Woman..." (just kidding)..

Yes, she was kinda spacey...but funny....didn't she say in one interview (not this one) that she lost her cell phone? (so she can't call any of her friends or ex-idols)....? She's probably in and out of suitcases and loses things....okay it's late...but this was a very fun bedtime story..speaking of...even that was funny - that she recaped her sleep schedule!!  Okay...I'm glad she's back...no Kat news means life is boring...

We've all been in those scatterbrained moods before--so I feel for Kat there when your brain goes loopy on you. It was probably jetlag again too...since that three hour time removal from the west coast can still throw you off a tad. Also, I agree that Kat was probably overwhelmed at the crowd response. She may have expected only a reasonably small group to know who she was...and she obviously didn't realize that EVERYBODY up there knows who she is and love her. Now Kat knows what they get on TV in Canada and what they don't.

It's obvious, though, that hosts of these shows have probably seen one diva after another trotted out into that guest chair. When they see such a beautiful and amazing artist as Kat acting so real and self-deprecatory, it probably feels like lightning hitting them or heaven on earth. The same thing can be said of Damien Fahey on TRL. These DJ's have seen it all when it comes to female performers and how they act. Most tales I hear say that 99% of female superstar singers out there aren't friendly behind the scenes and live up to their diva status. So, Kat's an obvious breath of fresh air when the staff of these shows have her around. You can just see it in the eyes of this Matt guy while he's interviewing Kat. It's quite an amazing sight to see on the faces of these hosts while they realize this on live TV.

Well, Kat shouldn't have worried about Nena being in any danger on those cargo holds on planes. Those are supposed to be safe...though I've heard some bad stories about what goes in them. Obviously, you can't see what goes on down there while you're strapped in your seat. Besides, Nena's probably near-human enough where I can picture her seatbelted into a seat next to Kat...and asking a stewardess for a martini...if they still serve those things in the era of flight rage.

A disjointed interview or not--Kat made a great impression here and will likely be asked back numerous times. While Kat shouldn't be so self-deprecatory, her emphasizing that aspect to herself here probably endeared her even more to many Canadian people watching.
