Thanks for doing that. It gave me goosebumps and Kat's OW is perfect. Kat would be proud that of her fan using her song to make a statement to support our troops. Thank you again for sharing that.

Hello to all.  I have been watching this sight for about a year now, but after seeing Danette's "Ordinary World" video I had to register.  It is absolutely amazing.  My oldest son was just discharged from the Marine Corps. this last tuesday.  He served two tours in Iraq and luckily returned home.  I was moved by this song the first time I heard it and it is one of my favorites.  Awesome work, and thanks for keeping all the men and women of our armed forces in your thoughts.  Believe me knowing that people support them and are thinking of them is so important.

Thanks, Jan

First, I cried when I watched your video. Now I'm moved to tears again by this message from Jan.  Danettte, way to follow your heart.

Thank you Vadia! I have been doubly blessed. First, making the video was so satisfying for me and then to be so encouraged by everyone here has been the icing on the cake!  It seems like the You Tube traffic is slowing down and I am so hoping that this message can reach many in the military. I hope that more people will watch it but mostly pass it on so it can really reach the targeted audience!

Hugs to all!

Danette

Just wanted to thank dbroom (Doug) for all his help with this video! He has forwarded it to a military station so hopefully this will soon reach my target audience...our troops and their families!

Of course, as we Kat fans also hope, many more will come to know about Kat and get on board with the rest of us Phanatics!

If you haven't watched it on You Tube I'd like to encourage you to go there and sign up so you can leave a comment. The more recognition it gets the more chances that it will get up on the home page and Kat will get even more exposure

I am not kidding about this video. Kats Management team should just release this video for Ordinary World. You deserve all the praise this video means to me and soon many others. Words cant explain what you accomplished. So I sent the link to ET, Fox and Friends, and all the major networks. Now I say ordinary World should be the next single with this video. I applaud you.

Hey Katfans! I wanted to share this message I received on MySpace from a soldier who served in Iraq. He saw the Ordinary World video on MySpace and send me a comment. I wrote him back and got this response from him:

Thank you for the link I will be sure to pass it on to my friends who are overseas now. Once again I just want to thank you because this day and age people are starting not to support us and its getting harder and harder for us. Your will never know how much the little things that people like you do really help us out. God Bless You Ma'am!

Christopher

It is so worth it to share this video and I hope you will continue to do that. I hope that many people are also exposed to Katharine's gift of music as well and she'll get thousands of new fans too... that's the little extra that could also come out of this

The World is in Chaos right now because of this terrible war. Your beautiful, heart touching tribute to the men with families who have made many sacrifices for all of us is what shall cleanse the world of its evils and from this, Good will come out triumphant. Your vision to make this tribute video is one that was made with the deep part of your heart and with it, you might have made history if it ever gets passed on to television stations. I really hope that it does because it really is that good. To use a song like "Ordinary World" to show the message, Brilliant! Using pictures that match the lyrics of the song, Genius and heart warming.

Katharine would be in tears if she saw this (happy tears of course). She would absolutely love what you have created here using her powerful song "Ordinary World" to show the message of those Brave men out there dying for US. You really are a devoted Katharine fan and I commend you on your hard work and effort and heart put into this project. I don't say this often but I think you have a gift Danette. A gift that allows you to create magic using song and visuals. If you keep this up, you'll be a real pro one day. Keep having those visions and you will only continue to create more magic.

Fantastic Job Danette

Thank you so much!  I sent the video to MaMa McPhee but have not heard back yet so hopefully she did receive it.

Just thought I'd also mention that thanks to Lin (luv4llnnt1) she sent me two links for organizations with volunteers and projects to support our troops. I forwarded the video to both of them and heard personally from someone at "Soldiers Angels". I adopted a soldier who is in Iraq! He is married and has a 10 month old baby boy. I am so excited about how this has come about. I would encourage everyone to consider adopting a soldier or one of the other projects they offer like letter writing. Check it out at...

http://soldiersangels.org

I never imagined that this video idea would lead to being involved in this way but I just know it will be a huge blessing. My boys are on board with it too and will be donating change and whatever they can like notes or cards, etc. so we can do it together.

I so hope that Kat has been able to see this...I'm dying to know!

That is wonderful Danette. You never know what direction on our journey's path a small decision might affect. I am sure never in a million years did you ever think that your decision to follow Katharine McPhee would lead you to adopting a soldier in Iraq. Wow, so very cool. Katharine McPhee has touched all of our lives in myriad ways and I am really enjoying watching the way your decision to follow her is affecting yours. For those of you who have seen the movies "Butterfly Affect" and/or "Sliding Doors" you will understand when I say that sometimes it is the smallest of decisions or events in our lives that truly can have the most impact. Danette has indeed embraced these wonderful opportunities that have come her way ever since she decided to produce her video. From discovering a new talent that she never even knew she had that might very well change the course of her career, to adopting a soldier which will definitely change her life forever, she exemplifies the power  in making a simple decision to reach out to others. Danette you are an inspiration to us all and I for one want to thank you for proving once again that when your heart is in the right place amazing things can happen.

This is one awesome video, congratulations your hard work shows. I e-mailed the link to our local CBS and ABC stations, and I hope someone will actually show it on the air. How can you watch it and it not touch your heart. I know Kat, as well as all of us fans, is very, very proud! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Your welcome Danette, you deserve it. I'm sure eventually Mama P will get back to you. It's great that your adopting a soldier to help support the cause of those brave men out there. I, personally couldn't take on such an important task but I will show my support in other ways. These soldiers need all the support that they can get.
