The wireimage self/vh1 videos combined. WMV as that is all that movie maker puts out and my other join program was losing the sound for some reason.

Usual paparazzi cattle drive and a bit of an interview.

Well, we know now that Kat gets directions screamed at her from the photographers at these things.

Good vids (thanks, Tina and Simon)--though the production values at Wireimage are still slipshod. Parts of the interview, you can't even hear what the interviewer is asking Kat. It doesn't cost much to buy a better boom mic, Wireimage. Because of that, be sure to turn your speakers up to the maximum level if you want to hear Kat's answers. Basically, she just talks about diet-oriented things, considering this was a party for 'Self.' You can tell Kat's fairly tired by the time the interview's done, but she's always accommodating.

One piece of interesting news in the BeBe Sport interview: Kat's apparently auditioning for movie roles now. I know she won't give anything away at what those might be, though it makes you wonder what she's going for. My guess is that she'll do a straight drama so she'll get respect in the industry for being a serious actress. Any first-timer would be smart to get in an intense drama. Just as long as it isn't a role that requires her to knock out her front teeth or something. Being an actor isn't always pretty...especially if you're clamoring for major awards. You have to be mentally prepared for it too.

I like Kat's dress at the 'Self' party--and thankfully it rolled up like a velvet curtain so people could see her legs...and feet.

Hey, aren't these the same paps yelling, "Katharine!" from the Billboards, Carousel.... Yeah, gotta raise the audio and I need headphones here.  Interesting note, she thinks Jessica Biel's body is "pretty amazing", though "her arms are a little too masculine for my taste."  Something about finding the balance and moderation in exercise.  Again here, Kat is always respectful and doing a good job with the reporters.  Didn't notice any valley speak here...Just gotta luv her

They all seem to love her. At all 3 sites - wireimage, gettyimages, filmmagic - she was far and away the most photographed with twice as many pics as the next person and accounting for abour one third of all the pics taken. I would imagine that by now, Katharine's attendance at one of these events is becoming a deciding factor in whether and how well they decide to cover it.

Somebody should show those guys how to turn up the sound. On maximum it still sounds like everybody's whispering. Still... it's fun to watch her getting the cameramen all crazy. "Over here!" "One more kick!" "Show us those legs!"

The photogs probably love her because she does what they ask her to do.  I'm guessing "veteran" stars aren't quite so cooperative.  Hopefully Kat never changes.
