Darn, and they probably had free green beer on the plane for her too. I couldn't have heard this show anyway on radio--because Open House doesn't broadcast on any Portland area station from what I could see on the station list. Though I guess you can access it via the net. I'm just glad Kat didn't take any chances with flying in inclement weather. A lot of airlines are taking better precautions with that...even if they get hell for it as Jet Blue is lately. This was still a nice little interview with Kat, despite not really providing anything new. It's just good to hear her talk about anything that's on her mind, and we at least get some slight variations in the way she answers to the same old questions. Strange the interviewer didn't know that the famous judges aren't there for the first auditions. 'AI' does a good job of keeping a lid on that reality. Even I didn't know that until after the finale last summer. Perhaps they told Kat not to mention that until the show was over. Interesting, though, that most past contestants never mention that. So it makes me think they're NEVER supposed to reveal that...even if Kat did anyway in a few interviews last year. If it wasn't for Kat revealing a lot about the show, 'AI' would still be shrouded in a lot of mystery for many of us. Before it was all speculation, and now I (and many of us here) can see right through everything on the show.
