it seems with her accurate pitch she could do singer impersonations. the one of nelly was "right on", and had a nice touch of humor.

That girl is a natural mimic. She hears it and she can do it, which must have made it a bit more of a challenge to do things different on Idol, which is basically covers of other well-known artists' songs, because she'd always have this little movie playing in her head of the way it was "supposed" to sound.

She also reminds me of something a great old-time late-night tv host (Jack Paar) used to say of himself: "I don't have an unspoken thought in my head." Media coaches are just a lost cause. She persists in treating audiences as though they all consisted of her best friends, which makes for some really charming and intimate interviews and blogs and such, but there will always be someone waiting to pounce on her for something she said. Oh well. Welcome to Katworld. Love it or leave it.

Kat does have a great ear and amazingly is able to sing on pitch on cue and does some right on impressionsions! Kat is ever so charming,animated and spontaneous,I could watch interviews like this for hours!Never fails to crack me up!!!!

Someday she's going to be so surprised to find out that Nelly F. has an "o" in her name. She sounded just like her. Phee had a great idea--she should incorporate celebrity impersonations into her tour act. Then somebody can video her live and they can televise it and we can all laugh our butts off.
