Yeah, Nena didn't come to her. Dog's getting too big of a head I can see. Doesn't want to be seen by the video blogging camera anymore. Um, I'm guessing she's keeping the video a secret. I don't know. Someone from MTV said somewhere that they are debuting Kat's video this week so...what day? I don't know. I'd think she'll tell everyone to go vote on the ending on Tuesday's show and then we'll see the results on Thursday or Friday I'm guessing. And yeah..."It's President's Day...I think that's what today is!" priceless!

When she was on TRL today she said "Over It" would premiere Friday. No word about us voting on the ending. I can't believe how often she finds the time to send us a video blog!!! I really love them. I hope she knows how much we appreciate this kind of communication.

I would have just blurted out: "It's actually Katharine McPhee Day (in the middle of Dixie Chicks month)!" Kat's vid blogs get more and more charming and fun to see every day now. Seeing Kat just talk off the top of her head and keeping the mood light and cheery adds so much to these. It's also great when we hear about her having time off and going off to do other things...such as seeing the latest Broadway shows. I recognized 'Spring Awakening' immediately when she mentioned it. In fact, I thought perhaps she'd already seen it--because that's the hottest show on the Great White Way right now if likely getting a pile of Tony Awards this coming June. If you haven't heard the soundtrack album, go pick it up. The music's quite good...and not the typical sound of Broadway at all. The songs are all written in a pop/rock vein (written by Duncan Shiek) and would fit easily on Top 40 radio...except for maybe a few. There's a couple of song that use some strong profanity that obviously wouldn't make mainstream radio. 90% of the score, though, is very accessible, haunting pop music (with some good vocalists). I could hear Kat's voice on the final song sung in the show: 'Song of Purple Summer.' That song will stick with you as long as some of Kat's ballads do. Anyway, regarding Nena: Those luxury hotel rooms are frequently fairly large...so N may have been kicking back in a back room somewhere watching TV while soaking in a bath. I'm sure she's been stuck inside most of the time when in NYC...so how Nena manages to get out to do her business, I don't know. That's all the more indication that anthropomorphism may be a good thing in dogs so they can go to the bathroom the same way we do.
