OK guys I considered tacking this video into the EPK thread but since most people who have been there know what is there and won't go back I'm moving this here. Katharine's in studio recording of Ordinary World moved me. Flaws and all the emotion of the stripped down studio version was amazing. So, in tribute, I created a new HQ avi file from the source VOB and clipped this jewel from the entire video. I've uploaded it in three versions: AVI (nicer version, very close in quality to the huge vob file) mp3 ( this one is crying to to added to your ipod or playlist) YouTube ( this is about a good as YouTube can be: Very good quality here) I hope you guys like them.

DUDE YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! Who's better than you!?!?!?! I already added the AOL sessions & myspace ones to my iPod - i actually fell asleep last night with my iPod on and the last song I remember hearing was the myspace one LMAO (im such a dork)

Bravo, CRB. This is my favorite, she hits it out of the park and "Ordinary World" demonstrates why her fans voted for her. If they would release this GRAMMY worthy song, I think it would catapult her album back up the charts!

Thank you so much for the mp3!!! I was especially wanting that!! Although I can't even listen to the album version of OW without crying now, I don't know how I'll make it through this! LOL It DOES remind us all of why we continue to support her way after we've finished seeing her every week on TV (okay except for the last two weeks! LOL). Thank you soooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about bumping this dormant thread, but I just love this song and clip. Seems like the instrumental arrangement was more spare during this take. What were the producers trying to say during the middle of the clip? They were cut off before completing their thoughts about Kat's "mistake?", and I couldn't tell if it was positive or negative.

No problem with the bump at all trsf, this is an opportune time to bump it given the wonderful video that a3boymom just contributed to the forum using this song as a basis. All the links here should work and still be available. (Youtube, vidoe download, audio download) Good bump! Anyone who missed this may want to check out the YouTube, Kat's performance in studio is amazing. What the producer (Walter A.) was saying was that when Katharine holds a note too long her voice cracks and rather than take it to that point of her voice cracking she should do "something" (ie improvise your way out of it ) and that is the moment when the magic occurs, when Katharine uses her instincts to create something rather then letting her voice crack. So is was both negative and positive, in a sense.
