Thanks--that was interesting to see. This shouldn't be surprising to overly sensitive people out there, because Kat said she'd try to get to the gay clubs when in NYC. Hopefully her people didn't discourage it out of fear of pictures showing up in the press and alienating some fans out there...but I think the majority would be fine with it. From all indications, those gay bars have a more friendly atmosphere anyway and not as slimy as some of the ones in NYC with straight people. I doubt the gay ones have much in the way of drug paraphernalia going around either as in others, or Kat wouldn't hang out in there.

It's great Kat has the back of the gay community in NYC--because they'll protect her when she comes there in the future to do anything. They may also get her jobs there in the future through Broadway. Though many legendary gay theater producers, etc., in Broadway have passed away...it's still run mostly by many who are gay. Knowing that Kat wants to work there down the road...being on the good side of them all will help her--especially since the reality of straight producers wanting to (how shall I say it?) hook up sometimes with women is still there from what I hear (though mostly in Hollywood). Having gay producers works a lot better when dealing with auditioning beautiful women.

Yeah, I knew some dirty minds out there would misconstrue that sweater removal during this message. Kat was only trying to appear more casual and comfortable...but all she has to do is look into the camera now and people automatically assume she's the biggest flirt on the planet.
