Hello Katharine fans:

Now that we're down to 10 finalists, I thought it would be fun to post to all of the forums on the finalists' fan sites. Each week, I'll give my impressions of each contestant's performance and an overall ranking of whoever is left. My qualifications for doing this are slim to none, other than I enjoy music a great deal, so I recommend taking whatever I say with a large grain of salt.

I got into Idol last season and was really pulling for Constantine to win it all. Unfortunately, he got hosed and boring Carrie Underwood won it. My favorite judge is Randy; Paula is always so positive that her feedback is meaningless, and Simon's standards are, at times, incomprehensible to me.

Katharine has to be one of the top three or four favorites to win it all.  Her voice is stunning, and she is easily the best-looking of the female contestants.  Her stage presence and performing skills have gotten better and better each week as well.  There are probably five people this season who could win it all, and Katharine is near the top of that list.

 

I'll be back next Wednesday with my thoughts on her performance...I'm looking forward to it.

Hi fellow Katharine worshipers, my name is Andy and I live in the rather cold and very wet UK; England to be more precise.

I think Katharine is not only the best singer in this year’s competition but probably the most beautiful girl ever to audition for the show. When she looks directly into the camera you are virtually hypnotised by her beauty and I actually think if you paused your TV at that point you could find yourself gazing into Katharine’s eyes forever.

Like some others we don't get the show here until the Friday (3 days after the actual event) but I can never wait that long for the result and always go online to hopefully see that Katharine has made it through another week; this enables me to watch the show without having a heart attack.

Hi,

I just joined and want to tell everyone what a fan I am of Katharine's. I was sick to my stomach last night when she went into the bottom 2. I voted for her 100 times Tues. night and can't believe she ended up there. I'm praying she makes it all the way. I was so upset today even though she survived but am keeping fingers crossed that she's going to kick butt next week.

Hey guys!

Brent, I hope more people follow in your footsteps. I think there have been a LOT of people who come to the site but don't join for whatever reason. The last couple of days I think people have been outraged at what happened this past week and have come here in droves. We need to make sure we get as many people together as possible to vote for their butts off for Katharine!
