Hello Everyone at KMF.

Although you don't see me posting much, I do lurk here at KMF daily, and have my daughter Amanda post my Katharine made pics and quotes sometimes. So I thought I'd just like to fill you in on my MCPHEEVER status. Being 67 yrs old, you wouldn't think I would be such a fan, but let me tell you after watching the complete season of AI5 and having the opportunity of each week watching and voting(many many times)for Katharine McPhee, she proved to me that since I had been a music fan since the 50's, this girl was special. You don't know how many times i actually tried to bite my nails(with no teeth)

watching the voting results and a few times when Katharine was in the bottom 2 or 3 I said to myself "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE VIEWERS". Katharine McPhee's don't come around that often! Well as it turned out she made it to the finals, and I still say today that she shoulda won that thing,and I think if her hometown people would have been voting more she would have, but I'll settle for runner up status. I began back in the 50's folowing the careers of singers. Going back to the Julie London, Kate Smith, Tony Bennet, Frankie Laine days, then all of a sudden pop music changed so dramatically with the emergence of Elvis, then the beatles, then Motown. Both the pop and country stars were turning up all over, music started exploding, more and more radio stations were coming on and all of a sudden music was the thing. BUT! Katharine McPhee is the best in my 50 years+ of enjoying music. There is something in her voice that makes your insides tingle. Following Katharine has been a major enjoyment to me and even makes me feel younger

, and there is no doubt in my mind that she will be remembered someday as one of the all time best. Not only does she have an amazing voice, but stop and think of her magnificent qualities of her involvements with charities at such a young stage of her career. She is a refreshing blast of fresh air to the music industry. A role model that will influence many young girls the right way. She was definitely brought up wonderfully. Momma Peisha and her Dad have a lot to be credited for, and I have told Momma Peisha that personally.

Those critics who think all she can sing is the ballads and showtunes and gave her ho hum reviews makes me think back to the reviews of elvis, diana ross,aretha franklin and others who became legends but didn't get the best reviews at first. So to all of you, I say don't worry to much about these reviewers. There are some MAJOR reviewers and they have all given her great press.Her album "OVER IT is amazing, every song being a potential #1.Katharine's choice in pop/rb will be her best because it's what she wants and believes in and by golly thats good enough for me.

And while I'm not making Katharine made pics , I'm on the email to all the major networks, music critics, movie producers, and everyone else that I can think of, letting them know that "AMERICA"S NEXT MEGA STAR " has arrived so they better grab her before someone else does. Don't be surprised if you see her hosting SNL or having a role in Law an Order or other programs.
