I don't think Kat is going to be appearing on the Macy's version of the parade. The reports are that she'll be appearing on the CBS Thankgiving Day Parade--which covers various parades around the country. I know Macy's well enough where they usually announce their guest lineups in advance and state explicity that their guests are appearing on Macy's. Only Taylor got the mention of being on Macy's--which I guess makes sense because he won 'AI.' Macy's coulda woulda shoulda designed a Katharine in a yellow dress balloon at least...but I won't bring up that story again.

Because of the lack of information tying Kat to Macy's--I have a feeling she may be in the non-Macy's one in Los Angeles that CBS show will be showing, among others around the country (including, yes, Hawaii). The CBS show is considerably different from the NBC one that just shows the Macy's only. CBS does cover part of the Macy's though.

Of course, this could be wrong information and she'll still be in NYC. But it wouldn't be directly associated through Macy's. Maybe it'd just be a special performance out front of CBS's Early Show headquarters again.

And here I wanted to see Kat on Macy's parade. Considering she's one of our greatest Americans--Macy's should have made arrangements with her AND Taylor. But it seems they only cater to the stars who are "bigger" on paper.
