Her dogs name is definitely Lily-I really don't remember ifthey even mentioned the goddaughters name? My tivo of that night got accidentally erased-I'm so mad. Anyway, her goddaughter and her dog are adorable! And Katharine is the BEST.Go Kat.

I just re-watched the video and Yogini is correct... the dog's name is Lilly and no mention was made of the name for her goddaughter... and also correct... they are both adorable!!! I'm sure Kat was thrilled seeing both of them along with all of her family.

I thought Kat was sooo sweet with her dog and her goddaughter!  When I saw her, even before the scene with her goddaughter...she just seemed like the natural childcare type of person.

She's sooo sweet!! (Okay, I already said that once, but I think that it warrants a second mention, don't you? )

Okay, I have a correction for everyone. Kat's goddaughter was cute, Lily was cute, and so was Kat! I love animals and babies so that pretty much made my day xD.

Animals, little kids, and American Idol is my life . I spaz out everytime I see anything realated to those three things, especially the animals ;). Everytime I see an animal I'm like, "Awww! It's so cute!" repeatedly. You should've seen me when they showed Lily and Kat' goddaughter on idol. I was spazzing out .

lol.  you know that whole repeating yourself thing is a symptom of 'da mcpheever'.    Remember kate's post  performance  interview with ryan after she did 'think'?  She said 'fun' like 5 times in 10 seconds, lol.  And she repeats the word 'like' a whole bunch, which is cute.

That's why we read alot the terms:

Kat is hot.
Kat is beautiful.
Kat is gorgeous.
Kat is sweet.

All these are true statements.  Their repetitiveness is due to the 'McPheever' lol.  it's all good

Season 25 of 'AI?' I wouldn't be surprised if it was still on then in some kind of different form. Simon would be in a retirement home by then (with his statues )--but it gives me haunting visions of that Simone creature someone put up on the 'AI' board once. Yes folks, that was some kind of twisted photoshop pic of a female version of Simon...which we imagined as Simon's daughter taking his job on the 'AI' of the future.

Well, I bet Kat will be taking Charlotte (Charlie) under her wing in later years. And Charlotte's fortunate to have such a great role model who will be close to her and hopefully take her in the right directions. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Kat is a major influence in Charlotte becoming a singer. That usually happens if you have a role model with such a strong influence in a particular field. So it'll be interesting to see how their relationship goes in the future. Sometimes goddaughter/godmother relationships are as close as natural daughter/mother relationships.

One definite thing we can garner from that classic photo above: Kat will be an extremely loving and caring mother to her own children someday.
