well it is. you should watch it. =] and for those of you who DONT watch it, ill catch you up on it cuz im bored and procrastinating hw and HOPEFULLY youll have enough patience to read the whole thing. =p.

ok so...

The plane crashed on this island. and well it kind of was going the wrong way for 2 hours and then it crashed. so basically theyre stranded. and it kind of blew up in mid- air. so the back end of the plane landed on one side of the island. the front landed on another side. So throughout the whole entire first season they focus on the survivors from the tail end on the plane. And no one knows until the 2nd season that there are other survivors on the other side of the island. ok so let me introduce to you the characters.

THE CHARACTERS. [ they all had a reason for traveling from Australia to LA].. that was the flight.

[[ throughout the show they have flashbacks of the characters pasts so its really hard to explain everything cuz like EVERY single scene has a flashback and each episode really focuses on one persons life]]     {{ most of this is what happens in the flashbacks}}

jack- jack is a doctor and also everyone kind of thinks of him as like the leader just because he helps everyone and comes up with the plans and sort of takes charge of everything. a summary of his life.. he was a doctor.. his dad is a doctor.. ..he has a patient named Sara. they think shes gonna be paralyzed and then shes not and jack thought he failed her so he was all depressed but he didnt and she wasnt paralyzed and then Sara and Jack ended up getting married. Then Sara cheated on him and they broke up. and Jack was like majorly depressed. Then he accused his dad of being the person that Sara was seeing and he was just helping her. and jack is like hysterical hes like so mad at him. and then well jack and jacks dad have all these fights and stuff. There was this one surgery where the patient died when jack had just come into operate and his dad was already in there and his dad lied and said he had just come in also, and so jack told on his father. and then idk how,  i think his father died of a heart attack. then hes all sad again. and his reason for going to LA is to bury his father.

Kate- a summary of her life....kate is a fugitive .. and her reason for going to LA was she was going to prison. She did a lot of bad stuff .. its kind of hard to explain. Well at one time her moms bf came home and he was drunk. She told him to go to sleep and then left the house and blew it up with him in it and killed him. then she fled town. she told her mom nothing about it. then she finds out that its her REAL dad. so thats y she was all mad. then another time her mom is in the hospital and cant remember anything. Then her mom starts calling for HELP because she doesnt recongize her daughter and she thinks shes a crazy person. Then kate leaves and jumps in the car with her boyfriend and she tells her boyfriend to get out cuz the cops were chasing her and he doesnt and the cops are shooting at her and then one goes through the windsheild and kills her boyfriend. that part is really sad. so she brought this toy plane with her on the flight, which is now with her on the island, thats his. and she kept it to remember him cuz shes guilty for killing the man she loved. THEN there are some other times when shes like on the run from doing bad things. because of what happened to her boyfriend. then she gets caught by this man whose a cop and he takes her on the flight to prison. he later dies on the island after the 1st few episodes. everyone takes his guns for defense. ok so right now on the island.... kate loves both sawyer and jack [[ i havent gotten to sawyer yet]]. she kissed both of them and Sawyer is in love with kate but jack is kind of exclusive and doesnt really show his feeling so who knows about him. I personally want jack and kate to get together cuz i dont like sawyer.

Sawyer- a summary of his life....he was a little kid and his parents were in some kind of trouble so his mom told him to hide under the bed and he did and he stayed there. Then a man came into their house and shot both his parents. His name was Mr. Sawyer. thats how sawyer [[james]] got his name. He wrote a letter to Mr. Sawyer telling him he'll get him back for killing his parents. He still has the letter then hes on the island because he always kept it with him [[ he had it on the plane]]. throughout the flashbacks sawyer is trying to find the man. he thinks he finds him and he shoots an innocent guy at a fish and chips stand. that was sad. I felt bad for him. ok so anyway. oh yeah, and kate knows the most about him. In another flashback, he has a bunch of money in a suitcase. Dont ask me why I got bored and fast forwarded it. but for some reason he gets in a lot of trouble and is asked to flee the state. so he does and thats why he was traveling to LA. so sawyer had a pretty rotten past. and yeah. Right now on the island...sawyer is in love with kate and hes ALWAYS flirting with her and in the last episode he started making out with her and .. yeah. thats pretty much it. oh yeah, and he has a secret stash of like EVERYTHING in his tent. like medicines, alcohol, whatever. No one really liked Sawyer cuz hes mean, but then he

Hurley- a summary of his past....hurley is like really fat. hes nice though but all he did was sit around and watch tv and eat chicken, cuz he worked at a chicken place. Oh and also hes in a mental institution for some reason. and he talks to this guy there named leonard. and All leonard does is repeat numbers in outload all day long. 4,8,15,16,34,42. and so hurley used those numbers once he got out of the institiution for the lottery. and he won!. so he quit his chicken job. but it turns out the numbers are bad luck. so allllll of this really bad stuff happens to this sweet innocent guy and so hes all like oh no i have to find the person who gave me these numbers and ask him what they mean. so he found the house, in australia. and it turns out he died in a car accident. his wife still lived. hurley thinks its the numbers that cursed him. His wife tells hurley that there is no such this as " cursed numbers'. so hurley all ok fine. so he leaves back to LA. and THAT was his reason for being on the flight. RIGHT NOW ON THE ISLAND...hurley thinks he causes bad luck to everyone hes around and that the numbers are the reason for the crash and everything. They find a hatch on the island. the hatch has those same numbers on the outside of it. he thinks the hatch it cursed. [[[ ill get into detail about the hatch later]]. hurley falls in love with libby. again, ill get more into detail about that later.

the koreans- Jin and Sun...About their past.. well yeah I dont know much about them cuz u kind of have to read the subtitles and i was too lazy so yeah. But ok Sun needed to get married to someone and she went out with this one guy and then her father found out and she was cheating on Jin, and then she and Jin end up getting married. Jin gets into a lot of fights with Sun and a lot of physical fights with the people he works with and that gets Sun all scared. So yeah theyre relationship insnt so great. and on the island.... yeah well same with hurley.. ill get into detail about it later.

Claire- her past... she was pregnant and was gonna go give the baby up for adoption cuz thats what a psychic told her to do. She was all ok ill do it. so that was her reason for going to LA.on the island....claire gets abducted my ethan ( someone who was really an "other" [[ill get more into detail about them later]] but pretended to be a survivor from the crash. hes really scary) he also takes charlie and almost kills him. Claire is friends with ethan and doesnt know that he might have poisoned her and would take the baby. everyone goes looking for her and finds her and she has her memory erased. she gets it back and remembers later. then they kill ethan. then claire has her baby and names is aaron. and charlies in love with her and thinks hes a guardian of the baby btw. and yeah.. so thats about it.

Charlie. his past....charlie is a heroin addict. not anymore since he landed on the island, but he was. he was in a band called drive shaft and he was the good kid until his brother got him addicted to heroin and basically screwed up his life. I forgot his reason for flying to LA.. i think he got like a contract or something with his band. So anyway, on the island, locke convinces him to stop his addiction and he does. He is in love with Claire. and ... yeah thats about it.

Locke- his past... locke worked 'making boxes' or something. but in the newest episode flashback he and his family, they were selling weed or something. so yeah im not to sure. hes kind of like the mysterious, dangerous old man. He was in a wheelchair. they never said how. but once he landed on the island he wasnt paralyzed anymore. ON THE ISLAND..locke finds the hatch and opens it with dynomite and then goes in it. he thinks 'the button' doesnt mean anything but you'lll later find out it does. ill explain more later.

Shannon and Boone- about their past... ok well theyre step siblings. and boone is in love with shannon and shannon is in love with boone. and their dad died and didnt have anything in his will for shannon and shes all like oh no i dont have money what am i going to do. and boone offers her money and she doesnt take it and I cannot remeber her reason for going to LA. she and boone both went.  ON THE ISLAND....nothing really matters with them now cuz theyre both dead but ok. Boone died by he and locke found another small plane and it was hanging off a cliff and boone went inside it anyway and then they heard a signal from people from the radio and then the plane fell from the cliff and it killed Boone. and inside the plane were a bunch of hail mary statues filled with herion. it explains later. how shannon dies..... ok well she is in love with Sied, who is another survivor from the crash. She and Sied go into the jungle cuz shannon thinks she sees walt. [[ again ill explain later]] and then the people from the other side of the island [[ explain laterrrr]] shoot her and kill her. so theyre both gone.

Michael and Walt. - their past....michael is the father of walt. his wife left him for another man. Michael never really new walt until like 2 months before the crash. Walts mother died and Michael was the only legal guardian so he took walt. They were traveling to LA to like start a new life or whatever. ON THE ISLAND...Michael builds a raft to try and free everyone who they can take, but Michales sort of selfish and doesnt care, he just wants to get himself and his son out of there. so if you read the earlier descriptions, you know that michael and walt both went on the raft. then the Others came and took Walt. the raft blows up. Michael blames Sawyer cuz he sent off the signal. then they somehow arrive at the other side of the island, where they meet anna lucia and echo and Libby. Michael is taken by the others while trying to rescue his son. He has to bring back Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley to them  and let them have Henry back if he wants to leave with is son. The only way he can do that is by freeing Henry. Henry pretended to be a survivor of a hot air balloon crash but is really the head OTHER. henry is trapped in a room in the hatch until he confesses. He doesnt confess but the only way micahel he can let him out is if he gets the combination to the room henrys locked in. Jack and everyone else refuse to let him go but all michael cares about is himself. so he gets the combination from anna lucia and then shoots and kills her because it was the only way he could set henry free. Then just out of being scared libby walked in and he shot and killed her. and that was bad because she was just about to go on a date with hurley. Then michael shoots himslef and frames henry. Making it look like Henry killed anna lucia , libby, and shot him. everyone believes him. Then he convinces Jack, Hurley , Kate, and Sawyer to go with him to the other to help get walt back. Jack knew it was a trap, and knew it was michael all along. dont ask me how. but goes along with it. then the others take them and michael and walt sail away forever never to be seen again. they went home because the others gave michael walt back, because that was part of the deal, and they gave them a boat.

Libby- FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISLAND was in the same institiution as hurley but hurley cant remeber where he knows her from. they were just about to go on a first date. Libby went to get the blankets that were inside the hatch. thats when michael killed her.

Anna Lucia- FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISLAND. was a police officer-- a bad one. she shot people a lot. She shot a man that she let free after he shot her. then she killed him. I forgot her reason for flying. but she was like the leader of the crew from the other side of the island. Michael kills her.

SIED- sied was a soldier in Iraq so hes knowledgable on a lot of things. he just killed a lot of people in his past so shooting someone was no problem for him. He was in love with Shannon. Anna Lucia killed her cuz she thought she was an other. yeah i dont have much to say about sied.

                                                         THE STORY

The plane broke in half and crashed on 2 different parts of the island. There are these people called " Others" the french lady tells them----- the french lady had been on the island for 16 years. her ship wrecked. the "Others" took her baby. The others are a bunch of people who live on the island. no one finds out about them until the end of the 1st season. SO now that you know about the characters this should be easy for you. Jack, kate, hurley and locke find a hatch. they dont know wuts in it until they blow it up. They climb down a rope into it and find out its like a house. There is a guy named Desmond who lives down there. Desmond is not mentioned in the characters thing. jack met desmond before the crash. he was training for a matathon around the world. His ship crashed three years ago. he and another man ended up on the island. the other man died so desmond had been down there by himslef for 3 years. In the hatch there is a computer. it you dont enter the numbers on the hatch door..... --- 4,8,15,16,32,24 then you supposedly die and the whole island will blow up. Jack and locke dont believe in this theory. You have to push the button every 108 minutes. So desmond has been down there pushing that button every 2 hours for 3 years. then locke decides not to push the button. then desmond tries to escape and locke and jack were wrong. the whole island starts shaking and there is a big noise and a light. but desmond fixes everything with a special key that he took from the man who landed on the island with him before he died. So before just the hatch blew up, everyone was living down there. then echo [[ from the other side of the island]] and locke find another hatch. but that was before they decided to test if the other one blew up or not. So right now jack, kate, and sawyer are taken by the others. Kate and Sawyer are in cages and jack is in another hatch underwater. he finds out its underwater when he tries to escape and the thing floods. The others make kate and sawyer work like slaves. no one knows what the others want from them yet. Jack just sits in the hatch in this room with a sound proof glass wall. The others suprisingly know every single aspect of all of their lives but they have no idea how they know it. Besides, they dont have any real connection to the outside world. or so they think. then henry shows jack the red socks game and how they win the world series. he is amazed. so yeah thats basicallly it. =D
