BOOK 7 RELEASE DATE!
JKRowling.com was updated today with news that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on Saturday, July 21st, 2007, one week after the fifth movie hits theaters.

Scholastic has followed with a press release in which Lisa Holton, President of Scholastic Children's Books said, "We are thrilled to announce the publication date of the seventh installment in this remarkable series. We join J.K. Rowling's millions of readers - young and old, veterans and newcomers - in anticipating what lies ahead." You can read the full press release here.

The hardcover will sell for $34.99 with the deluxe edition fetching $65.00. These high prices could mean the book will be longer than any of the previous six. However, if you click here you can pre-order it now on Amazon.com for just $18.89.

UPDATE: Just a few hours after the release date has been announced, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows already holds the top spot on both the Amazon and Barnes and Noble bestseller lists.

Look, look!! Don't know if you guys have seen this but.. yay!!

 

American 'Deathly Hallows' 784 pages!
Scholastic announced today that the US edition of Deathly Hallows will contain 784 pages, making it the second longest book in the series behind OOTP!

Since the US versions of the books are published in a larger font and contain chapter pictures, this should mean the UK version will be around 700 pages long.

The US version of the book will have an initial print-run of 12 million, and the publisher has also revealed that each of these copies "will be printed on paper that contains a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste (pcw) fiber."

The President of Scholastic Trade Publishing and Book Fairs said, "Scholastic worked hard with our suppliers and the Rainforest Alliance to secure this extraordinary amount of recycled and FSC certified paper for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. As a company with an ongoing commitment to protecting the environment for this generation and generations to come, we believe producing this book and our future reprints of Harry Potter books with a minimum of 30% pcw recycled paper is an important publishing decision."

I preordered! [[or actually my madre preordered for me lol]] Wow I havent been in here in a while!! I miss harry potter... Ive probably said this already but like on maybe the 1st or 2nd page lol, but I used to be a Harry Potter FREAK!!!!!! But you go so long without a new book and get bored, so you tend to start looking for new things. In most of our cases, it was Kat. As I often say when people ask me about hp, "I caught the McPheever and moved on to a new life," or something corny like that lol!

yup! I'm still looking for a place that i can be sure i'll get the U.S Version.. Every places their best offer.. And making me more confused.. Dun know the price fosho.. Usually (Previous Books) around Less than 200rb.

Okay, so here's a new picture of the trio. (Love this!) It is from the Teen Vogue Photoshoot. I just found this, today. And i saw the Teen Vogue Mag where they used this pic as the cover, but without Rupert. (Shocked?!) I really don't know why Rupert isn't in the cover but is in this picture. Uh oh..
