.... I dont know what to write about this...

first of all.... BRITNEY SUCKED SO BAD!!!!.... i used to like her a long time ago.. but now... i dont even know what to say... why mtv let her do that?? i dont understand!!!!.. the only good thing that she used to do...was dance, and now is goneeee......

about the others, i REALLY REALLY LIKED alicia keys no-one performance! she rocked as usual! Chris Brown was good too, and justin & nelly did just a good job...

what do u guys think???

ooh and about best new artist... i believe that carrie should have won that!

I didn't see the VMAs, but I will say that Brit's body doesn't look as bad as was made out. Gwen Stefani used to (and maybe still does - I don't know) show a body like that in the mid-90s, and it didn't bother me. Now if her dancing is off, what's to enjoy about her performance? Not her singing - pre-recorded or not.

Kat hasn't kept up with her singing, either, but that's when she's doing something like teasing a guy she brought on stage.

Best new artist should have been Kat! (Carrie's trophy room is full enough.)

Haha ... I hope that guy's just joking about the cause of Britney's poor performance. He could've cured cancer or figured or how to send people to Mars already with all the thought & work he expended.  But Kat broke her shoe during her UYCBTM performance (*with* singing) on Idol and still did fine, so Brit's bootheel "problem" doesn't wash with me.

Kat broke her shoe before UYCBTM, and im not saying that britney performance was bad because of her shoes, she sucked "singing'" (l.sync)... well... she never sings live.. so .. im just saying.. i dont wanna fight for her, i was just shocked that's all.

I think the last trainwreck at the VMAs was when Guns 'n Roses was the surprise closing performer a few years ago, and Axl Rose was obviously winded and out of tune during their medley, but at least he was singing. How do you mess up a lip-synched performance? And Brit's weight/flab is forgivable to me, but she could've prevented the fuss if she'd just have worn pants and a blouse.
