Youtube is the best place for a marketing campaign, isn't it?

Good luck on the sales of that children's novel, Kelly. I put out a friend request, too, for your MySpace--considering it's fun to network with fellow writers. I've written a children's novel myself that I'm still working on getting sold. It's much more complex of a story--but falls under the age group of 9-12. Though adults could find a lot in there as much as sophisticated kids could.

Also, it's interesting you're studying animation lately--because I considered getting into that arena myself once...but decided against it. I studied a lot of books on the subject when in grade school and did some amateur animated films during my grade school years. One film was about a guy chasing flies around his house...later drilling his house with gunshots trying to get rid of them out of frustration . That little film just used paper cutouts with little pins in the joints of his legs/arms, etc. to create flexible movement--and took FOREVER to get finished. It was my animation 'Citizen Kane' so to speak--running doubly long than the other student animation films. Well, I guess running doubly long hasn't changed--even in my writing.

Getting a book on the bestseller lists isn't easy, so I wish you well on the marketing campaign. It's at the point in the writing world now where the marketing is more work than the actual writing process...

I'm hoping I'll be as famous as Katharine someday!! You are so right Gregoriancant the marketing is actually harder than the writing part. Especially with all the other stuff I'm doing. I'm trying to plan a summer tour, but I havn't been able to yet. I also want to build my website, but I havn't been able to do that yet either. As you all can tell I've got a lot on my plate right now and please keep spreading the word about my book. I really do appreciate all of your support!!!

Yesterday I e-mailed Peisha and told her it was my birthday (by the way I turned 22 yesterday), and I told her about my book.
