Dear Katharine, I only seriously started watching AI last year and voted like crazy for Carrie to win. Back then, she was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and her album Some Hearts is absolutely wonderful. So I anxiously tuned in for the auditions for this year and was pleasantly surprised at the good talent. But since the first time you came on, you were memorable. Inside the blurr of the 130 some-odd people who went to Hollywood, yours was the one name that stuck in the head. I was ecstatic when you made the top 24, because week after week of seeing you, you kept getting more and more likable(not that you weren't so before). It seemed like every week you grew more talented, likeable, oh...and let's not forget BEAUTIFUL! Every week, me and my family(all of us) sat down just to watch you sing. And interestingly, every week you blew us away. Like that day we made our own Cornish pasties when you sang "You're bringing out the ELVIS!!!! in me." And your high note in "Think" caused our cat Risl(Rizzle) to purr. Despite the fact we almost blew up our oven the night you sang "All is fair in Love" your performance was memorable. And week after week we keep voting. And we won't stop, You have so much potential as and Singer, actor, model(here she comes...miss america!). And I just wanted to let you know that our entire family is praying fervently for you. Only He and you can know how much pressure you're under, and having the good father above comforting you as you go is an awesome feeling...I know.
