Dear Katharine McPhee,
 
             It is absolutely absurb and un-called for that negative press being written on you.
Just remember that these negative influences are just trying to sell themselves no matter how untrue or false there comments are. Anyone with an ounce of common sense realizes it is depressing to you to know that you can't perform up to par, and therefore the best thing is to get well. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would know that you want to be on tour with your fellow idols, promoting yourself, your Cd, and your career but that your voice won't permit you to and in that case with the legendary career before you, it is better to fully recover from the throat problem.
You have many fans Katharine and will have many more as you go along in your life and career. For being an idol runnerup, you have convinced many fans and highly regarded superstars and record industry moguls that your voice and beauty will carry you to legendary stardom. Reading the comments I have seen from Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Barbara Striesand, David Foster,Donald Trump and many more icons are much better press than writers who don't even know what the true facts are and what music is all about. Young children, teenagers, and grownups are all beginning to idolize you and follow your career. You have shown us all, in just a short time that your caring, love sharing and your moral values are of high regard.
You are a breath of fresh air Katharine. Your life is all in front of you. Just keep being who you are and in time those negative press writers will be unemployed.
By the way Katharine, being 66 yrs old and being a parent, I commend your parents for raising a super young lady.
