Dear Katharine, For almost 5 months, thanks to you, Tuesdays and Wednesdays were the best days of the week! Now as we stumble meaninglessly (imagine no dialing with unrelenting single-minded purpose for 2 hours) and grasping with Kat Withdrawal Symptons (KWS - it's an official medical term - trust me), I found some words to express our predicament. Not so much highlighting our despair but really, to celebrate the simple joys that you had brought us and continues to exude by just being you. Hope you like it........ For Katharine Each morning. when dawn is but a slimmer of light beneath the curtains, the trees come to life. A chorus of perfect pitches, scales, filling my soul with melancholy. And so my heart aches for you. This void, this hollowness, follows me, like a shadow, through dreams and realities. Alas, no wine I know can melt this darkness. Abruptly, the trees are silent. Echoes of emptiness ring through my ears. And thus I realize, there is no past, no present, no future. Everything is impermanent. All I truly need is just your smile. With this, my heart again knows happiness. And who would have thought it, without fame or money? Sincerely, Jimmy
