Dearest Kat,

What a dear you are! I'm often bewildred at my age, being a grand-mother and all, that I have never before been a real fan of any one person, until you. I mean I have my favorites, and you and I have similar taste. I also like the actress's, Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock for the same reason you do, like you would want to be friends with them and you make me feel that way about you too. My favoriate singers, of course you are number one 4 ever, are Barbra Streisand and Celine and I have the whole set of Billy Holiday so when you sang GBTC the way you did with such feeling and then Barbra's, I was hopelessly hooked! Your beautiful voice carries with it a piece of your soul when you sing and only a handful of singers can do that.

All that to say is some how you have touched with your soul, the soul of a large group of people that share a common bond, besides loving you, I believe they all feel deeply like you do. The more I hear from you, know you and your character, I realized I couldn't have helped but to fall for who you are. Like one poster said, you contiually confirm to us the reason we have all lost our minds to McPheever.

Thank you for being who you are, for taking time out for your fans, to show us who you are, especially when you are ill. And most of all, thank you for coming into our lives and touching us so. We feel that much more alive because of YOU!

You know that it just got really hot in here because everyone's McPheever collectively rose about another 100 degrees. Great questions and great answers. It's pretty difficult to convey your personality through writing but Kat did just that and now I'm in love with her even more if that's possible. And no Kat we will never get sick of you. If anything I think we're even more obsessed with you since the end of the show. We love you, we want you to get well and we support you all the way no matter what happens. Thanks Kat and everyone who put this together!

i surely am very much entertained with the mix of seriousness and a tad of fun in those questions and answers!!! it really is a treat for us, the fans, to know something about kat not just the performer, but as a person. its such a knowing experience that makes me feel like i am indeed a part of her life, and i know her on a personal level.

I most certainly cannot see you on tour for i am miles away, but your album is something i can look forward to. Oh Kat, you are the greatest! Words can't describe how much we love you! Thank you for all the thoughtful answers even though you're sick and should be resting. 

Don't we get sick of you? I don't think this will ever happen. Think of this, if we get sick of you, we'll probably be sick of everyone in this world because you are the origin of the McPheever which we all severely caught and you are the one we're dreaming and dying to see day and night (I'm not exaggerating). How can we be sick of you? I'm only afraid that you'll get sick of us because we're thinking and talking about you all the time, every minute, everyday.

Kat, if you're reading this, I would like you to know that I have found an instant cure of depression - by watching you talking about meatloaf. And I now understand why you like someone who makes you laugh because you can make someone laughs all day.

KAT- it would be impossible to tell you how much we all care about you. You have so many very supportive and dedicated Phans, and we will never get sick of you. Great answers KAT --They helped us learn a little more about you. I have always thought you were amazing in every way, and the more I see, read, and hear about you-the meaning of the word amazing grows. We are unsure when Kat will get back to Host Chad, but I'm certain he will post it as soon as possible. 

I joked that Kat was killing me by not answering my question yet, but the truth is that I much prefer a thought-out answer to her just writing anything to get it over with. 

So I will try to patiently await the answer.  I just hope I'm not dead by then.  CAUSE IT REALLY IS KILLINGGGGGGGGGGG ME!!!!

She answers her questions so charismatically and shows that she's more than just a beauty with a voice, but she is an amazing person with a huge heart! Katharine, please do feel free ("I'm taped...feeling free..."  ) to visit this site, KMF, anytime for some McLove.   Love, respect, humor, and positive energy abound here for you, your family and friends, and for your extended family (if I may be so bold), i.e., Kat Pack, McPhans, McPheever "sufferers" - i.e., each other.  And although, as you pointed out in your response to megustajake's question, you still have to be careful reading the Internet, I have yet to find anything hurtful or mean-spirited here.  Mods like Chad, Laurie, et al are ready to pounce if ever that sort of thing should ever appear.

You never get sick of hearing "I love you."  And everything your beautiful heart gives off, whether it be expressed through your art or just your personality, your words, your intelligence, your warmth, your sense of humor, says "I love you."  So we'll never, ever, ever get sick of you.  I know you were just joking there ("I mean gosh, don't you get sick of me? haha"), but anyway, there ya go.
