I'm a big Grey's Anatomy fan and while waiting for the show to start tonight, there was a promo for next week's Ugly Betty... and about halfway through, guess who America Ferrara bumps into, but none other than our lovely Kat!

 

Very excited for this coming couple weeks with the CD release and tons of promos!!!

yup I saw it! I'm the biggest The O.C. fan ever. But I put it on Ugly Betty at the end to see if they had a promo of kat and I actually ended up missing the first 2 minutes of my show, but I didnt even care because I got so excited when they showed Kat!! For those that don't know, Ugly Betty is on right before the O.C., but on a different channel... so yeah that was my Ugly Betty promo experience, I thought I'd share

Weird - not only does the over voice have a british accent but it seems like a british show, I've never seen it before, the british accent was just part of the fashion scene joke, right?

God, I had a hard time getting this to download for such a quick commercial--but thanks for the link. Quicksharing.com wouldn't work through Firefox for some reason. Though it did through IE--and took about five minutes to d/l.

What to say after that commercial other than...SURPRISE! Kat's certainly more than one of those promised surprises on the show...and they could have at least shown her name on the screen. Why play up Rebecca Romijn so much? What they should have done is have Kat play the character RR is playing...or is RR playing as herself too? Had Kat played a character like that--she would have been the talk around watercoolers the world over the next day.

Well, even playing herself...Kat will have to put some acting into it if that makes any sense. I've seen some other famous people play as themselves on shows, and they're usually terrible playing themselves. Only Kat will be able to be herself...yet still be entertaining in an acting sense. It appears she'll get a chance to plug her CD on there too if that photo of her handing a signed CD to Beautiful Betty is from the actual show.

That British accent announcer? I haven't seen the show, but maybe they use a British narrator on the show for whatever reason. Anything to do with a high-end fashion show, though, means they'd have to hire someone who sounded classy. America usually doesn't sound that way anymore--so we leave it to the British who do a much better job.
