Calling all NY/NJ Street Teamers!!! For those of you who will be going to Kat's upcoming appearances (The Today Show, The Early Show, TRL, etc), we have a very easy, inexpensive, & highly effective way you can help spread the McPheever! Simply pull out the markers & posterboard, & get ready to make signs to pass out outside the shows! The idea behind the signs is to bring even more attention to Kat so that viewers at home will want to rush out & buy the CD! This tactic is such an effective form of marketing for artists, that labels will often hire artist representatives to do this very same thing! Each sign should have a picture of Kat's album cover, or other promo shots of Kat, & show her name significantly. They can be created on full or half sheets of posterboard, & 6-12 signs would make a HUGE impact. You can add any slogan or phrase, or simply "I heart Kat". GET CREATIVE! The only requirement is that Kat's name & photo are visible. (If you need help with ideas, look back at old episodes of Idol, where there were wonderful posters in the audience. You can look to these for ideas and inspiration.) Then, carry the posters to the shows (plastic garbage bags makes great carrying cases & can be tossed afterwards) & hand them out to people standing around you in the crowds. The key is to make each one a little different, so that it appears each of the signs has been made & brought by a different fan. Come on Street Teamers!
