Ok, anybody who knows the answer, please help me out. I'm in Hawaii, so my voting time hasn't started yet. I'm also a new text voter, so when the East Coast lines were open, I decided to try a practice run on my Go Phone. Please keep in mind it's a Go Phone and I would normally be charged 5 cents per message. So when I did my dry run voting for Kat, it was appearing to go through even though the official site says my vote won't count. But here's the confusing part.... I didn't get charged the usual 5 cents, I didn't get charged at all. You might interpret that to mean my votes didn't go through. However, I just tried another dry run (it's still before my voting hours), only this time when I voted, I got charged. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!? Does that mean I can vote now, before my scheduled time? There also have been posts that texting off Go Phones were free at one point for voting. We haven't had any clear answers. So anybody who knows, please help me out before my official voting hours start. It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to the Cingular voting too, and I didn't get charged for any of my texts votes tonight. I sent one to my other cell phone to practice, and did get charged for it though. But my account balance hasn't been depleted at all for the Idol votes. People were saying last week they did not get charged either, so I really don't know what to think! But I had the same experience.
