Hi Kat Pack Street Teamers!
 
There have been some questions concerning DJ's who are suggesting that fans call station/program managers.  We assure you that the most important thing to do right now is to call the DJs and request the song. Remember that it will make an even larger impact if you are more casual in your request. For example, mention that you just heard Kat's song on AOL, or that you caught the end of it on another station.  This will create buzz around the song, and the stations will be more apt to seeking out and playing the song if they think it is circulating publicly. 
 
Also, don't get discouraged if you don't hear the song played right away, and don't stop calling if they don't have it. Remember that you can hit up each separate DJ throughout the day, to let them know that you want to hear the song.  And be matter of fact.  You needn't ask if they have the song, simply ask if they will play it.  Again, this will make them think that the song is already in popular circulation, and make it more urgent for them to obtain the song. 
 
Finally, remember that circulating the CDs will take time.  Many CDs will have to be mailed from place to place 3 or 4 times before they finally reach your local stations.  This depends on the number of management offices the stations works under.  So, again, recognize that the single is probably on its way, and make it important to the station to get their hands on it as soon as they can.

Thanks, Co. Good advice, but my advice is not to overdo requests to one station. They become irritated and it may backfire on us.
