The long (completed) version is much better than the preview, the extra verses highlight more of Katharine's voice. Katharine's comments on AOL show how excited she is about the album, and I still think this should be the first single. and Kat confirms it IS. Since Ashley Tisdale is releasing a track called "Over It" on February 6th, all the more reason to feature Katharine's version first. My practiced ear tells me it is magnificent. Trust me, this is a HIT

OK, Heartless, the only detail I can give is from a production point of view because that's who I am. This track is pure Katharine. Other posters here have criticized it for being over produced. It is not. All the backup singing is Katharine harmonizing with herself thanks to the magic of multitrack mastering. Beautifully produced, engineered only with proper instrumentation and only what's necessary. Katharine is so talented that she doesn't need studio "doctoring" to keep her within the right key or to hit the right notes. This track has the right "hook" to entice people to buy the album, has the "earworm", which means it easily gets stuck in your head, and, most importantly, most people can identify with the lyrics. As far as Jojo is concerned, I am not familiar with her work or with the song "Too Little Too Late". I tried to hear it on the net, but refuse to buy it from iTunes. This is the best I can do. I hope it helps.

I didn't like this song at first because I thought it sounded too similar to JoJo's song but after hearing the full version they sound NOTHING alike. Kat's is really goood....SMASH HIT!
